When it comes to jewelry I've always preferred "less is more", simple & classic styles. No wonder I fell in love with this cute golden peace bracelet from SOPHIE by SOPHIE. Rise & Shine.

I've always been a "morning person" and therefore I've not had any difficulties in getting up early in the morning. That seems to have changed, I somehow can't seem to get up early anymore instead I keep on sleeping like a little bear :) Anyway I'm up now and ready to size the day!

November is going towards its end and on Thursday we'll be entering December. Christmas is just around the corner and we still haven't received any snow? :( Hopefully it will be here soon! By the end of the week I've planned to do some Christmas shopping, I better get started now.

Other than that I'm free today so I'll be decorating my room with new ornaments and organizing a few things. If the weather gets better I'll also head out for a long walk later this afternoon. Anyway time to get changed, I'm still in my pj's :) Later!

Sleepless Sunday.

Good evening, I trust you've all had a good weekend? If not then I'm sure the upcoming one will be a lot better ;) Anyway I've been busy working as usual and hanging out with friends from work.

On Friday evening my entire family headed out for a celebration dinner dedicated to my youngest brother who turned 18. Later J & I went to see "Governor Mike Morris", it was very interesting and I believe I heard that George Clooney might even get an Oscar for his performance as an actor.

Considering it was pay day on Friday we had lots of customers at work during Saturday = busy busy day.. Still my friends and I headed out clubbing in the evening and we had lots of fun! Despite the fact that I felt mortified this morning when I had to get up early and go to work. Not because of any stupid hangover, I was feeling fine but because I didn't sleep enough hours. Zzzombie today :)

Anyway I should probably turn in early tonight to get some new energy for tomorrow's work out (!) intensive cardio + core is on the schedule, so looking forward to it! Sweet dreams

I have some boring laundry to fold that needs to be done tonight, luckily I just saw that "The Devil Wears Prada" will be shown on the TV in just a few minutes. Perfect! Got to run now. Later skaters!

Cooking Skills.

I've never been an expert when it comes to cooking, in other words I've tried to stay outside the kitchen. But recently I've discovered how much fun it is to gather a group of friends or perhaps just being two people and cook together! Tonight I made a fabulous fish soup which turned out to be a success at home, everybody loved it and I couldn't help but feeling very proud of myself! :)

I'll see if I can translate and post the recipe here tomorrow for those of you who might be interested in trying it yourselves! Trust me, it was so easy and tasted so good! Normally I prefer to cook chicken and other meat dishes since I think fish a lot harder to cook.

However, tomorrow evening I will not be cooking since the entire family is heading out for dinner in town to celebrate my youngest brother who just turned 18 this week. I'll be working the entire weekend but on Saturday night I'm meeting up with some of the girls from work and we'll dance all night! So looking forward to that :)

Today is a special Day as it is my youngest brother B's Birthday! I can't believe you're 18 now! Time has gone so fast, as I made this collage above I couldn't stop smiling at all the amazing moments that we've had together as siblings. I also look forward to the new ones that are to come!

I wish I had enough words & symbols to describe how much you & E truly mean to me, you are the absolute Best Brothers I could ever wish for. No one understands me like you do. I love you. Don't you ever doubt that. ♥

No Green Fingers.

I believe it is a Swedish saying, either you have it or you don't - "green fingers". If you're good with flowers and other green plants then congratulations, you have it! ;)

I on the other hand don't, I've always had flowers that I have forgotten to take care of. Still there is one exception, roses. For the times when I've receieved flowers for example my birthday I always take care of them a little bit extra just to see them last longer. Still I'm planning to get better, I'm looking forward to have beautiful orchids in my future apartment.

For my graduation I got a beautiful vase from Villeroy & Boch which I haven't used for a while. Perhaps I'll buy myself a pretty white rose bouquet on Friday! The fresh scent always make me happy not to mention the fantastic view that I'll be able to look at for a couple of days :)

New Week.

Morning Monday and the start of a new week! After a pretty intense weekend I allowed myself to sleep a little bit longer this morning and therefore woke up with nothing but a big smile on my face. I hope you all had a great weekend! I spent yesterday working all day and Saturday with friends.

Tomorrow is a Big Day! My youngest brother B will be turning 18 years old! Crazy how time flies.. We'll be celebrating him tomorrow and the entire family will be heading out for a celebration dinner for him on Friday, so looking forward to it! Truly, I love my family so much ♥

Anyway I try to convince myself that my cold is a lot better for I've planned to go training with M tomorrow. Therefore I'll be drinking lots of tea today and eating more C-vitamins! Time for a quick shower and I'll be ready to start this new Monday! Have a great day everybody!

Going Back Again.

Truth be told, I really do miss Bornholm. The spectacular landscapes, fresh air, amazing animals and the kind & warm hearted people. I miss it so much and I'm hoping to be able to go back again someday. Maybe next year, right M? ;)

Faller.

Ett stjärnfall av kärlek rinner ner längs mina kinder, ensam och tyst är själen när den midnattsblå ridån i horisonten går ner. Ett pärlband av tårar återspeglas i stearinljusens varma lågor när själen inte förmår att le mer.

Du räddade mig den där regniga onsdagsnatten i september från vad jag trodde skulle bli en ensam, lång och kall höst. Jag minns det som om det var igår, hur dina ögon log och vilken magisk känsla som värmde tryggt i mitt bröst.

Plötsligt befinner vi oss i en otäck dimma där en återkommande mardröm är att du helt kommer att försvinna. Nätterna består av en ovisshet, en inre rädsla och oro över vart du är, vad du gör och framför allt hur du mår och detta långt in på nattens sena timma.

Rise & shine everybody, Thank God It's Friday! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Today's plans are to bake Swedish Christmas buns called "Lussekatter" and later this afternoon my mother and I are going to see the new Breaking Dawn movie, so excited!

However the other day I saw this picture (as shown above) and fell completely in love with the golden bracelet from Mulberry not to mention the gorgeous glasses from Smarteyes. The thin ring is from H&M and the green stone, gold coloured ring from YSL. It's all about the Details.

Only You.

Was it a dream? I find myself lying here alone with an empty mind, breathing heavily and with a pair of hands that are shaking vividly. Struggling, yet I can't seem to find the strength to hold back the tears as I realize that things might not be the way they used to be and it makes my heart scream.

This time I was able to let go of all my childish fears and I let you in, to trust you and to learn that the beauty lies in that the body cannot pretend to fake a certain feeling. I never imagined that this pain would feel so real. Not this time, not when you were the one who helped my heart start healing.

Everywhere I go and all the places that I see somehow reminds me of you and all the things that we have seen and done. For this is my soul's confession, all I long for is to see you again, dearest friend. One may call me a fool for being vain and for not stop waiting for one call, one text or just any sign on my phone.

All I ever wanted is for you to be happy and to fill your days with joy. To be able to bring out the best in you, stay by your side when times get rough, to remain loyal and faithful to you only because you are important to me and because you are no ordinary boy.

In the end we are all afraid of new changes and sometimes we need to take chances in order to realize all the good in something new. You had me at hello and I've cherished every second, minute and hour since then. I will always believe in you and be proud of you. For me this was not a dream, but something true.

It's dangerous to be home while being sick. I just clicked "purchase" on these three beautiful items from Swedish shop tintinstyle that have so many gorgeous things. I've been looking for a white long sleeved top now that it's getting colder and found this adorable one from by Ti Mo not to mention the leather bracelets from Stylesnob that I've been looking at for quite some time.

Hoping for an early delivery, perhaps they will manage to be here by Friday? Fingers crossed! Now time for some lunch, I'm starving! Later skaters!

First Frost.

Good morning sunshine, I trust you all slept well? I have to admit I had a rather rough night with almost no sleep, luckily I'll stay indoors today for my face is a complete mess. Anyway what did create a smile upon my face this morning was the view from my bedroom window, through the window pains I could see the first signs of this winter's first frost. Finally!

However another reason for staying indoors today is because my cold just got a lot worse :( I had problems breathing last night and was coughing a lot. Awful cold. Guess this means no more training either this week but I think it might be a good thing since I've been having problems with my left foot so it will be able to rest now for a couple of days.

Anyway I better fix that fruit salad I was talking about yesterday, hopefully I'll get better soon! Have a great day everybody!

News from Byredo.

This is the second or third time that I've been reading about this new fragrance called "Seven Veils" from Byredo, the latest blog I visited was fashion oracle Sofi Fahrman's blog where apparently also she has become addicted to the perfume.

I must say that I'm very curious about it and therefore I have to take a sample of it tomorrow before or after the gym. The composition of the new scent includes: carrot seed, pimento berries, Tahitian vanilla flower, laurier rose, glycine, tiger orchid, sandalwood and vanilla.

Sore Throat & Tired Tuesday.

I had to force myself to get up this morning since I had an early appointment at the hospital to run some tests. Normally I never have difficulties in getting up early but now that it is pitch black outdoors and yes perhaps I did not get enough sleep last night it made things a bit more difficult this morning.

Besides, I've had a sore throat two days in a row now - please don't let me get sick :( I know several colleagues of mine that have been ill last week and so has A so it feels as if I have high odds against me. Tomorrow I'll see if I can fix a C-vitamin mix of fruits and vegetables!

After the appointment in the morning M and I headed to the gym where we attended a cycling class and core class, which actually didn't feel as intense as they use to do? However I was still completely exhausted as soon as I got back home and therefore took a 1,5 hour nap (!).. Somebody slept like a little baby and woke up with a great smile. I guess my body needed it ;)

Frozen.

Beyond what your eyes normally can see and through the light that continuously shines you will find a wounded smile by the end of the road. Once again, a soul has been hurt and been found with a way too heavy load.

A new emptiness from deep within embraces the frozen emotion. It doesn't matter how much one tries, it will simply never be good enough, no matter all the love and endless devotion.

And it hurts, yes it hurts with every heartbeat.

Evening in November.

Good evening rockstars, how was your day? I've been busy working all weekend and today as well. It was a calm start of the week though, Christmas shopping is still yet to come.. So far the busy days are always the weekends. I guess people are waiting for the paycheck for November? :)

Anyway I actually had a rather lazy start of the week (I just couldn't resist the Ben & Jerry's ice cream in the fridge..). Besides I haven't been at the gym today and I have to complain about the pain I'm having in my left foot :( Somehow I believe I might have been running to much lately and therefore I can only blame myself for this foolishness. It's not a big deal though, I'm attending a core class tomorrow and yes - I promise to take it easy ;)

I've got two very sleepy eyes that are struggling to stay open so I'm actually calling it the night now. Sweet dreams, may you dream with the angels that are watching over you & your beloved ones ♥

White Winter.

It will soon be mid November and not a single snowflake has fallen yet (!).. I wonder where are you white winter? Honestly one could not be more prepared for it as we are now. Anyway I'm sure it should be here any day now. I'm positive about it! Fingers crossed! :)

Meanwhile I was searching for some inspiration for Christmas presents and other interior details I found some wonderful things that I would love to use to decorate my room this year. The snowflake lights I bought about one month ago I believe, at IKEA.

However I do love the beautiful pillow not to mention the perfect throw to have on my bed! I got a pair of slippers last year that are almost worn out so this cute pair is very much welcome to my bedroom. Somehow it feels as if I'm going to have to put them all on my Christmas list... :)

Last Night.

A and I decided to hit the cinema last night and we saw "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn" directed by Steven Spielberg. It was really good! Once again Spielberg has proved his talent for making great movies. Apparently he'd been waiting 30 years to do this film.. (!) with all the special effects etc. Well, as I said it turned out very good!

Another film I'm so eager and can't wait to see is Breaking Dawn - Part One which judging from the trailers that they have released appears to be very exciting! I still haven't finished the last novel yet. Guess I have some reading to do this week before its premiere on November 16th. Better get to it before it gets too late! ;)

On the 10th of December I'll be attending a Christmas dinner with my co-workers from work. One thing I absolutely love about Christmas is all the dinners and parties there are to attend. A perfect reason to dress up a little bit extra ;)

I have been looking for a pair of warm winter boots for a while now and saw these from ZDAR - Mascha today! They look so warm and comfortable, perfect for a long winter walk. I've had a black pair from Bally for a long time and it would be great to have two pairs to switch every now and then. They will definitely be on my Christmas List... ;)

Baking for Christmas.

How I long to get started with all the Christmas baking and decorations for this year's Christmas. As I'm typing this I'm searching for inspiration on the Internet to get new ideas in ways of colouring and decorating cookies, cupcakes etc.

I've wanted to make my own ginger bread house for a very long time so I'm hoping to be able to do so this year! There are so many pretty examples that makes me want to start tomorrow! Just take a look at this adorable one or this majestic one! I could go on all day.. ;)

The World's Greatest.

Everywhere I go, all the places seem to remind me of you and the different things we have done. Truth be told, I've had nothing but loads of fun on all our adventures and I'm excited over this new chapter that has begun.

For there are friends and other people who asks me who you are and I always reply, He is the world's greatest. Like the northern stars you fill me with hope no matter the hour or if I'm the latest.

For this is my heart's confession, you leave me breathless every time I have you near and I'm so proud of all the things you have done. According to me you have already won.

I took some quick photos in the photo booth that I have on my laptop before heading out this last Wednesday. Love the curls that are still in tact (!).. Not to mention the beautiful dress, sorry for the bad pictures but it is silver metallic and has a hot low cut at the back ;) You can find it here!

A and I saw the exhibition "On This Earth, A Shadow Falls" by photographer Nick Brandt at Fotografiska and had one of the best meals I've had in a very long time at a restaurant called Axela I strongly recommend it for those of you who haven't been there!

Noble November.

Unbelievable, I somehow simply cannot grasp the fact that we have now entered November (!) which means one month to go before it is Christmas! Time really does fly while you're busy having fun ;)

Anyway it's been a crazy week with long working hours at work. To be honest I'm completely exhausted but hopefully I'll be able to regain some new energy tonight. It feels as if Christmas shopping has already begun?

Speaking of which, a friend of mine is already done with all the gifts he will be giving away this year (!), crazy.. I've only thought of one so far.. Have you given it much thought? I'm thinking about Christmas and all?
