Lightning of Love.

If ever a girl stood on the moon all the stars would call the angels around. To stop her tears from falling into troubled skies and making a thundering sound. Memories flashes before her eyes as the heart drowns deep within, in the floods of guilt. Aches has brought down the protective walls that once were built.

A white peaceful lilly dies because of this angry rain. The question is why do we hurt ourselves and cause all this unnecessary pain? Is it really that wrong to want someone this badly? The answer might be given in the forgotten valley.

The lightning of love strikes right into the soul, fills the stomach with struggling butterflies and is sometimes hidden in a northern star. A daily reminder that can often appear in different complexions in the pitch black sky and sometimes like an unforgettable scar.

And so if ever a girl stood on the moon all the stars would call the angels around. To dry her tears and bring her back to the ground.

California Dreamin'.

Picture: Collage made by me (pic 1 to the left & pic 2 from the right)

I've been looking at alternative adventures for autumn/winter of 2011. I've tried windsurfing quite a few times and it's really fun! Still it would be a dream to learn how to surf as well! The Swedish Surf Academy arrange several trips to different destinations all year around.

Apparently they hang out in California for a week by the beginning of November. It would be so much fun to surf and hang out with new people! I'm definitely going to look a little bit closer at this alternative.. ;)

Workaholic.

I hope that I haven't turned into one although it actually feels like it :/ Luckily I did manage to get another week for vacation in the middle of august so don't worry, I'll find time to relax!

Anyway one can notice that people are on vacation nowadays. We had a very slow Sunday at work today and most of our customers were tourists. Since I'm not a "summer gal" I actually long a bit and can't wait for august to begin ;)

Still I had a day off yesterday and spent it both at home and in town with friends. A good friend A (also a colleague from work) and I spent the afternoon together and I found a few cool things for very nice prices (50% off!). In the evening I met up with K & S from work and we went to a house party at a friend's house. Let's just say that we had so much fun it was very hard to leave but I had to work today so I left around 2 AM which isn't that bad after all..

I have two long shifts on both Monday and Tuesday so I better try to get some sleep tonight since I feel completely exhausted. Somehow I already know that it's going to be a good week and so I can't wait for tomorrow to begin :) May you all have a soft Sunday!

Live your Life today.

Picture: We heart it

There will never be a story like yours again.

"Dear Harry,

When you saw that flash of green light, a sinister laugh knocking in your ears and a searing pain on your forehead, did you ever think that you would start childhoods and set souls ablaze?

When you were locked in your cupboard after your awful aunt and uncle refused to give you dinner, again, did you know that you would soon have millions of children smile at the sound of your name?

When you were on the train to Hogwarts, and you met your best friend Ron, did you ever wonder that we were all on the train with you, we were all excited to go to school with you, and we were estatic to be sorted into our proper houses?

Whenever you felt like you were all alone in the world, did you know that we all stood up, applauded and cheered you on, with grins outstretching the world, tears rushing down our cheeks and glasses similar to yours on our faces?

When you were terrified and thought that you had truly met your sticky end, did you know that millions of people would dress up exactly like you, your friends and your enemies in remembrance of your epic and incredible journey?

Did you know that you have given us so much more than a story?
And as the eighth, and final, movie approaches, do you know that millions of children will be in tears at the sight of the ending credits?

There will never be a story like yours again. There will never be the same joy, magic and whimsy with each waking word and each page turning.

Harry James Potter, we love you and we always will."

With You.

Picture: Source unknown

Worst Wednesday.

Finally this long day is coming towards its end. It's been an awful day since I've been in so much pain :( My neck, back and legs hurt so much.. Probably the result from long and hard working days. Besides I don't know if I've recovered from my cold, it doesn't feel like it anyway..

Luckily I have a short day tomorrow, I'm going to see the last Harry Potter film with my mom and younger brother and I'm free on Friday, yay! I'll probably end up spending my day off zzzleeping.. Enough said for today, it's time for bed! Sweet dreams

El Gouna, Egypt.

Picture: Private - collage made by me (click to enlarge!)

My friend K and I spent one amazing week in a little town called El Gouna (about 40 min by car from Urghada). We stayed at a Swiss resort called Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. We had the most fantastic service at the hotel and we loved our room!

Our main goal with this vacation was to relax and enjoy some fun activities. We decided to go scuba diving one day and it turned out to be one of the best adventures of the week! We spent the entire day on a big boat with a fun group of people and we even saw dolphins!

The second trip we headed to Luxor and visited the Valley of the Kings. It's a valley where tombs from the "...16th to 11th century have been discovered where Pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom (the Eighteenth to the Twentieth Dynasties of Ancient Egypt)." Source Wikipedia I even visited Tutankhamun's tomb and saw the actual real mummy.. Creepy!

Besides that we met a fun group of kite surfers at the hotel which we hang out with quite a lot during the evenings. They brought us with them to experien soft music at a chill out beach party the first day which was awesome. The next night we spent almost four amazing hours watching the full moon eclipse from the open roof at their kite station, drinking beer and just chillin' out.

To sum it up it was a great week and I'm so happy I was able to enjoy it with my good friend K. We've already made plans for upcoming adventures later this winter. Our next project is to become a good scuba diver and take the appropriate certificate, preferably somewhere in Thailand. We'll see what happens. It's getting late now so I better get ready for bed. Sweet dreams

I'm Back!

Hey! I'm sorry about my absence here in the blog but as some of might have guessed I've been on vacation = Egypt for one week, spent time with friends & family & celebrating Swedish Midsummer in Växjö. It's been an amazing month with lots of fun in the sun ;) But I'm back in town now working again and so I'll be doing for the rest of July until mid August.

Unfortunately I've only been able to work 2 hours this week since I've been home with an awful cold :( Hopefully I'll be better on Monday. Anyway, I'll try to make a collage of my pictures from Egypt. My friend K and I had a blast and were introduced to so many new sports and cool lifestyles. More about that later! Time for some fruit salad, my mom bought Mmmango! :D
