Stockholm.

Good morning rock stars! I hope you've had a great week so far :) I came to Stockholm this Wednesday and I've officially begun my Easter vacations here, so good to be here for twelve days! My plans are to study (I have a paper to write for the 9th of April) but also to hang out with V, family & friends. It's going to be two wonderful weeks!

Today's plans are to read a bit during the morning, run a few errands in town and get ready for tonight since V's office have arranged an after work for all the bankers ;) I'm sure it will be fun! Other than that I'm looking forward to the weekend too, since we're heading to V's friend A tomorrow evening for dinner and a soft jam session (since both guys play the guitar!) and on Sunday I'll be hanging out with my family. Lots of fun things to do..!

Anyway guess it's time to get this fun Friday started! First up a nice shower!

Little Miss Efficient.

Good evening rock stars! I hope you've had a good day so far! I've been busy all day studying with L at the University in the morning and after lunch I headed to town for some grocery shopping. I just landed in my sofa and I must say that I'm completely exhausted yet I have a few more things to check on my to-do-list before I settle in for the evening.

Tomorrow is a big day since I will be having a public discussion with a smaller group of members from my class where three other students have examined L's and my examination paper that we handed in last yesterday. I'm sure it will be interesting and that there will be several topics for the discussion.

Also, V will finally be arriving tomorrow afternoon! Yay! There are not enough words to describe how much I miss him.. I'm so looking forward to meet at the station! Anyway I should get started, I don't want to be cleaning all night.. ;)

Terrific Thursday.

Rise & shine! I woke up to the sunlight outside my bedroom window this morning, even though it was pretty early it felt good to see the clear blue sky outdoors. Today's going to be a beautiful day! As if that wasn't reason enough to create this happy feeling I also received a call a few minutes ago from the one person I care about the most ♥ Thank you love for calling, truly it made my day!

Besides, I have more great news! My iPhone started working again yesterday! Finally..! I couldn't be happier about it! Crazy how much I've missed it ;) Another awesome thing is that L and I finished our essay - our first written exam made at home. It turned out great! Therefore the girls & I headed out last night to celebrate it with a few drinks at one of the local bar/restaurants in town. The best drinks I've had so far here in Örebro!

Anyway it's time to kick-start this lovely day! Have a Terrific Thursday!

Lesson Learned.

I've had some technical problems today with my iPhone. Really annoying actually, not being able to call, text or get in contact with people. The thought crossed my mind earlier today how addicted our generation must be to the cellphones? I sure am, I depend on it everyday.

Lesson learned from today: one must always have some sort of back up or plan B. I didn't today. Unfortunately I am still not available (note for my family & friends who have trying to get in contact with me today) or perhaps I should just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet? I don't know because I really do miss my phone..!

One Love.

My heart beats faster every time I meet his dazzling gaze. The bare sight of him makes me want to run and jump into his safe embrace. Truth is, I never stopped dreaming, hoping and wishing that life one day would bring us together. A long love & friendship that would last forever.

I would have waited a thousand years, knowing that it would still take me one step closer to you. Still, I always knew that there was a possibility that my dreams would not come true. My prince charming I had set my eyes on did choose another path once and he could do so again. What hurt the most was being rejected once, I now know that my heart would not make it a second time, especially the part of loosing my best friend.

Time has changed, for he is now the reason for all the struggling butterflies I have deep inside. I no longer have any fear of watching you walk away but instead I can happily say how proud I am to be your beautiful bride. For you have always been and always will be my one true soul-mate. Some people call it friendship, some people call it love yet I call it fate.

For each day that goes by our love grows stronger and stronger. No matter the distances, trials and other obstacles that may cross our way I know it cannot hurt us any longer. The love, magic and strength is everywhere. I can feel how you once again have bewitched me, body and soul but also added sparkles in the air.

New favourite.

I've found a new favourite flavour in the Ben & Jerry's family of ice-cream! "The VerMonster" consists of marple sirup ice-cream with caramel sauce and caramel roasted pecan nuts. Delicious, this could probably be the best dessert..!

Almost Done.

Finally I'm home and done with today's work on the essay I've been working on all weekend. Crazy we're almost finished, two more pages and we're good to go! It feels as if the last three days has literally disappeared in a blink of an eye. What a relief to hand it in on Wednesday, can't wait..

Anyway I should start preparing some dinner for tonight and make a plan for next week. Besides a lot of studying I have to buy groceries, clean & tidy up the apartment for the weekend and I also have an appointment in the laundry room on Wednesday afternoon. No mayor things, still important tasks that must be taken care of. Later skaters!

I am still in love with the pictures from Lindex latest campaign "Modern Preppy" featuring Gwyneth Paltrow. I love the combination of coloured chinos/jeans with a blue blazer. This is a look I'll definitely be wearing this Spring/Summer! ;)

Pancakes.

Good evening rock stars! I hope you've had a great weekend so far? I've been busy all day studying with my friend L, we were at the University nearly all day. One of the reasons for why my head feels like a squashed potato right now. I'm glad I stayed in tonight to have a soft evening and really do nothing but rest.

As soon as we had ended our study session I decided to go home and make me myself some pancakes, if you ask me I think Swedish pancakes are the best! :) I really deserved it today after reading and typing for so many hours. One must come up with small awards every now and then while working on a project/task, I always do and it really helps me focus! ;) Small thing that matters!

Good Morning Saturday.

Despite of the dull and grey weather outdoors I've had a good start of the weekend so far! Last night was spent at L's place with the girls, where we had dinner and watched the movie "Friends with benefits" featuring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. Watch the trailer here!

Today's plan is to study, study, study.. My friend L and I are working on an essay that is due on Wednesday and we really need to work with it today and tomorrow.Other than that I'm looking forward to a soft evening at home tonight.

When it comes to accessories I have always preferred golden details such as earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I am looking for the perfect watch with a golden frame and bracelets to wear every day. I saw fashion icon Olivia Palermo wearing this romantic white dream at an even in the USA and fell completely in love with the beautiful dress. I have no idea who the designer is but clearly he or she has created an outstanding piece!

I saw that the webshop Chicy sells a very much similar dress! The ultimate dress for all the summer festive occasions if you ask me! I love it..! :)

It's always been You.

He is the greatest. The best above all yet also the bravest. A special someone who is the reason for why I wake up a little happier every morning. A true gentleman that I feel trustworthy of and can rely upon at the slightest warning.

He is the one my heart has been aiming at for far too long. Finally my dream came true and perhaps one day we shall have written a beautiful song. For He is my best friend & lover who can always make me smile. A man who has captured my heart and aims to keep it for a long, long while.

Swedish fashion house Lindex keep on delivering great campaigns featuring admirable female Hollywood celebrities. I loved the fall campaign they did with Reese Witherspoon which turned out to be a huge success! I'm positive that this Spring campaign will hit new records as they are featuring another favourite star of mine, Gwyneth Paltrow in "Modern Preppy". Check out the video here!

Easter Vacations.

I'm so happy that we have nine days without any lectures or seminars by the end of March/beginning of April, meaning I'll be able to spend twelve wonderful days (including weekends) in Stockholm!

I'm so looking forward to spending time with my V and my beloved ones at home. I only have one smaller assignment that I'll be working with while everyone else is at work. Sounds like a good plan huh? ;) Two weeks left and I honestly can't wait..!

Anyway I've had a rather efficient day with my friend L today working on a smaller assignment for Thursday this week. Still I have some cooking and cleaning to do now so I better get to it! Later skaters!

Every time I close my eyes I can see your smiling face in front of me. I can feel your arms embrace me and I realize that this is the place I want to be. The sound of your voice and laughter reminds me of all the funny things you always say. How you keep teasing me, making weird faces and dance with me makes me realize how much I want this to stay this way.

Truth is I already miss making you laugh, helping you sleep and doing things for you. Being able to encourage you to follow your dreams, telling you how special you are and staying up late at night just to be able to see you. I miss being able to share intimate moments with you and sharing thoughts about our future, a feeling that to me is brand new. Long Weekend in Stockholm.

Sorry for the bad updates these last couple of days but as the title refers I've had a long weekend in Stockholm and since I didn't bring my laptop I haven't been able to publish any posts! But I'm back in Örebro now so count on more posts this week ;)

I've got lots of reading & studying to do so I'll probably be pretty busy. I have a big project that is due next week and two new seminars to prepare for. I'm sure it will be lots of fun though, interesting subjects and discussions.

Another fun announcement is that I officially passed my first written examination at the University!! V was a true gentleman and took me out for dinner last Saturday to celebrate our 1 month anniversary as my good results! Thank you my love, truly you are the greatest ♥ Time for some tea & quick shower, later skaters!

Rise & shine everybody! In front of my laptop sits a tired little lady who barely slept anything at all.. Shame on me! But I had to get up to prepare today's cupcakes that I'll be bringing to Uni during today's meeting. I better get to it since it will take some time to prepare and decorate them. Exhausted Evening.

It feels as if I've been running around all day organizing and fixing things. This morning's meeting went really well, looking forward to tell you more about a new project that I'm involved in! I promise you will be hearing more about it later. Other than that I've been writing on my essay nearly all afternoon yet I still have some more to write tomorrow.

While my clothes were in the washing machines in the laundry room I headed out for a run, I really needed some fresh air after an entire day indoors. It gave me a clear head yet an exhausted body, guess I'll be turning in for bed a little earlier tonight. Besides I'm actually not feeling well, I'm not ill but there's just an uncomfortable feeling on top of my chest. Hopefully it will be gone by tomorrow. Sweet dreams

I had an awful nightmare last night and was a bit shaky when I woke up this morning. Luckily I managed to shake it off and have had a great morning so far! Lovely sunshine outdoors and sparkles in my eyes fills my soul with so much positive energy! Love it :)

I booked the laundry room this afternoon so I'll be quite busy for two hours but before that I've got an essay to finish for Thursday! Time to continue typing.. Later skaters!

I've had my eyes set on items that look like stars such as jewellry and other garment pieces too. The beautiful scarf above is something I'd wear all Spring and Summer together with my red leather jacket or perhaps with a simple jeans jacket not to mention the adorable star necklace from SOPHIE by SOPHIE. I have a feeling that we'll be seeing more of this the upcoming season.. And I'm definitely not complaining about it ;)

Soft Sunday.

I wish there were enough words to describe how much fun my friends and I have had today! The aquatic adventures turned out to be a huge success and I stayed in the Jacuzzi over two hours (!) it was so good! Almost like getting a full body massage ;)

My friend K was so happy that so many of us turned up and wanted to celebrate her birthday. I didn't come home until 8 PM and felt completely worn out, after yesterdays run and today's fun. I'd probably be in bed by now if not V had come home today after visiting a friend of his over the weekend. I've missed him so much!! And yes I've been wanting to stay up to talk to him, if only for a minute or two.. If this isn't love then I don't know what it is.. ♥

Looking forward to the new week with start tomorrow, fun meetings and a wonderful weekend to look forward to, I want it to be Thursday soo badly! Patience seem to have fled my system?! First I have to finish an essay and prepare a presentation for Thursday morning before I'm off to Stockholm until Monday! Time to brush my teeth, sweet dreams everybody!

Aquatic Adventure.

Today happens to be my friend K's birthday! We are 12 people who will be heading towards a facility called "Gustavsvik" here in Örebro, a huge Adventure Pool Area and a spa/relax spot too. I've been looking forward to it all week! I'm sure we'll have lots of fun! I'll probably get stuck in the Jacuzzi pool.. ;) Time for breakfast!

Movie night.

I just came back from town after watching the new movie called "This Means War" featuring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine & Tom Hardy. It turned out to be a great movie so those of you who haven't seen it yet - I strongly recommend you to do so!! :)

Sunny Saturday.

Rise & shine everybody! I hope you've all had a good start of this weekend. I spent last night at my friend K's place together with L & M and together we cooked three dishes with both appetizer, main course & desert. It turned out to be a delicious meal and the four of us got stuck in an intense food coma afterwards ;)

Anyway today's plan is to study and to head to the movies with the girls later tonight. I think we're going to see Reese Witherspoon's latest film, "This means war", seems like a cool movie! Thank God It's Friday! I'm in such good spirits today thanks to the beautiful weather outdoors! If I'd be able to choose any outfit for today I'd wear the items above. I love the gorgeous heels! Not to mention the brown bag (the exact same model like the black one I bought last weekend). I'm so ready for Spring!

A fictive story.

I sometimes see this sweet little girl following me around in public places. I believe she is about five years old and truly does look a lot like myself at young age. Most of the time she runs around smiling, playing and having fun. I find it hard not to smile when I see her fooling around.

I was on the phone this afternoon and as I turned serious she looked up at me from where she was playing on the floor with her big blue and confusing eyes. She knew something was wrong. It is as if she can read me in and out and knows every feature in my face to know whether I'm happy or sad. She's never been wrong.

I could not help it but I tried my hardest to block this feeling and continuing smiling at her. For one brief second we were both silence. I looked into her eyes and it was if the sparkle of joy in her eyes was gone. The sparkle of belief, hope and love had disappeared. That unique glow that can be seen in children's eyes and people that are deeply in love. It was suddenly all gone and it felt as if my heart stopped.

I will probably never understand critical people that are filled with so much negative energy and those who simply cannot be happy for someone else in their surrounding. Those who never stops being suspicious and always find something to complain about. For there will always be people in your environment at home, work and other public places that will do all they possibly can to break you down and try to steal your positive energy.

I let her sit in my lap, trying to comfort her as the tears came streaming down her little angelic face. I made myself a promise today, to never become like one of those people that I described above. On the contrary I will always inspire people with happiness and love. Teach them to appreciate the small yet important things in life.

I just hit on a bumpy rock today and it truly hurt deep within. One cannot always have good days there will also be hard ones too. The art lies in how one handles them and I did learn a lot from it today. For example not to waste any time on so called energy thieves. Most importantly to continue have faith and spread a smile at home and at any other public place. Be thankful for the life that has been given you. Life is full of miracles ♥
