Starbucks in Sweden.

A much longed-for announcement came the other day. According to Engla the first Starbucks coffee shop has opened at Arlanda airport in Stockholm. All I can say is finally and I'm so glad that it has arrived.

Hopefully they will open more shops in the city as well. The next time I shall visit Arlanda I will definitely order a cool frappucino at Starbucks. Finally some good news that cheered up my day! :)

Cruel Cold.

I got it. Again. Another cruel cold has caught my poor nose and throat. I woke up and felt how it was "ringing" in my ears. Horrible headache. Anyway I had to stay home from preschool but I have to work 3 hours tonight, hopefully I'll be able to gain some strength during the day.

Time for a shower, I need to get up and start the new day. Sorry for this boring post. Lack of sleep and a sore throat forced me to search for some sympathy. Have a great day everyone!

Working nine to five. Monday to Sunday.

I believe I forgot to tell you that I'm on a four weeks practical training. I began last week and have entered my second week yesterday at a preschool nearby working with children in the age of 3. It is a part of one of the courses I'm studying right now.

Therefore besides my ordinary working hours at NEWHOUSE (which is part time but anyway..) I also spend 6 hours (working from nine to four) at the school. Meaning long days (Monday-Sunday). Next week I'll hopefully get a few days off due to the Sports Holidays.

I must admit that I've had lots of fun! I have also been learning many new things and I believe that it is a great experience. Unfortunately many of the children are having colds at the moment so these last couple of days I have woken up with a sore throat. I need more C-vitamins and more tea.

The other day we had minus 22 degree Celsius (!) in Stockholm. Crazy. I dream about sunshine and warm days of Spring. It seems so far away. I know I mentioned something about a "Spring trip" before and I'm still considering it. Unfortunately now is not the right time. But I know that it will come. Some day soon. (I hope..)

Sweet Dreams.

When all the lights are out I close my eyes and let my soul drift away, I let it find its way to rest in your arms, a far much safer place. When my eyes fall down upon your loving face, I see a man that I can embrace. For this is my heart's confession; I think of you day and night. I dream of you lying in my arms, holding me tight.

When I am about to fall sleep, in silence I pray that you'll be safe every single day. For throughout the day my thoughts are with you in every way. I must say that I missed you a little bit more today. When I hear your voice and the way you say my name my heart skips a beat and it tingles down my feet. A feeling I would love to experience every day if only I could press a button that said repeat.

When you hold me in your arms nothing matter but this moment. In your warm and safe embrace I shall rest throughout the night and remain dormant. When all the lights are out you are my shining star that shall lead us out from the nights heavy mist. When you kiss me the outside world ceases to exist.

H as in Headache.

It's been a long week with several long days and lack of sleep. No wonder I ended up with a big headache this afternoon. Tired and heavy eyelids are now present even though it's early (!), 7 PM.

My entire body is hurting, not to mention my poor feet. I'm afraid that I might get sick.. *hope not* anyway I will try to force myself and go to bed early tonight. My body, mind & I need to rest.

It’s the little things that matter.

Tomorrow it's been seven days since Valentine's Day. In order to maintain the love you might share with someone alive you must take care of it everyday and not just on Valentine's Day. Remember: It’s the little things that matter. Why not surprise your love today? All ideas count.

Sincere Silence.

Sincere silence. No sign of as much as a whisper in the cool air. Snowflakes keep on falling and gently turn into melting crystals as soon as they touch my hair. I find them to be very rare.

There are angelic figures along the path, which most likely have been made by children who have been playing out in the snow. Visible traces of smiling faces, happy places and a beautiful glow.

Sincere silence. Nature is asleep while I hear my heart beat. Alone and not another soul on the street. If only it would be your face I soon would meet. The cold has gotten a hold of my feet.

There are no signs of spring to be found. Even though I looked for it beneath the snow and on the hard ground. Time will show and soon we will hear a small bird's beautiful sound.

Sincere silence. Please bring us peace and obliterate all the world's violence.

Dearly & beloved readers, Happy Valentines Day! I hope you have all had a wonderful weekend filled with love and with laughter. I spent Friday evening at the cinema with my mother & brother. We had a good time together and shared a few laughs. While driving to the cinema it felt as if we were heading out clubbing (!), let's just say that it was a Fun Friday.

From the beginning I had planned a small "get-a-way" to Krägga Herrgård for Valentines Day, that is Saturday evening until Sunday morning. A romantic little trip for a beloved person & myself. Unfortunately I had to cancel due to illness. Even though I had been looking forward to it I must say I still had a wonderful weekend.

It's not the physical environment you are in that can make something special but rather what company you have. Luckily I spent this special weekend with the greatest gentleman I know. Thank you for making my weekend such a wonderful weekend. I would not have had it in any other way ♥

Saturday Spa.

Good morning, I hope you all slept well. I've had the best morning sofar, good exercise, delicious breakfast (scrambled eggs, my favourite!) and now I was planning to continue with my "mini spa" that I began yesterday.

One must not to forget to relax every once in a while and to take care of yourself a little bit extra now and then. Remember, your well being is important, no matter how many things are written down on your "to do list". Time for a shower, may you all have a great day!

In the arms of an Angel.

Every night in my early sleep I lay awake and try to recall the feeling of my warm hands entangled in yours and the way you let my head rest upon your chest. The feeling when you hold me tight and dearly is simply the very best.

When silence get too hard to handle and the night too long, I think about the happiness I feel inside every time I see those precious reminders of you and that they are everywhere I go. If only I'd dare to tell you the truth, I miss you so.

There isn't a day that goes by where I don't, at some point, think of you. In your presence my heart feels like a red balloon struggling to get up into the blue. A sense of joy fills the air when I am close to you.

Every night in my late sleep I slip away trying to recall the feeling of how your warm body feels beside me. I take a deep breath and smile happily. Sweet dreams awaits, in the arms of an Angel.

Irresistible earrings from the American designer Kenneth Jay Lane which are very similar to the beautiful earrings Angelina Jolie wore last year at the Oscars. She looks breathtaking at the pictures above and the gorgeous earrings lifts her entire outfit, black elegant dress and the jewellery takes care of the rest.

I'm considering buying them because I have a gorgeous black dress that would look great with these two pieces in my ears. Could be the perfect outfit for Valentine's day? Too bad that they are out of stock at the moment :( But I will have a look again next week!

Sunshine on my window.

After days and weeks of nothing but cold and grey whether the sun finally decided to show up, today! I woke up to this beautiful sunshine. I have the feeling that spring is officially on its way.. Even though it's still freezing outdoors one can dream away a little. That's OK right? ;)

Anyway today will also be a long day, study and work in the afternoon. I'm hoping the big mall shall have more visitors today since yesterday evening it was a bit "empty". I better continue with my writing, may you all have a terrific Thursday!

Slow motion.

For once I do not know what has happened to the pace of my life. For some reason last week and this week as well have passed me by but in what to me has felt like a pace similar to slow motion.

Even though I have plenty of things put together in my overloaded small calender the days seem longer. While they instead should feel a lot shorter. Something might have bewitched my life's clock.

Anyway tomorrow is a new day and one day closer to the marvellous weekend ahead. No work but instead lazy days to relax, sleep and do absolutely nothing. No I have not forgotten about Valentines day ;) I shall also show my love to my beloved ones. I hope you shall do the same!

Terrific Tuesday.

Good morning to you all. I hope you slept well. I went to bed with a smile and woke up just as happy. I got the feeling that today is going to be a Terrific Tuesday! After a daily list and a smile I wish you all to go out and "size the day" =)

Good Morning, Monday.

I hope you slept well. Due to yesterday's hard work I felt exhausted last night and managed to fall asleep quickly. Luckily I had a good night's sleep still I must confess I've had a slow morning sofar.

Anyway Monday it is and a new week full of fun activities. Tonight I'm going to the first rehearsal with the new choir, excited! More info about how it went will probably show here up tomorrow. (In case some of you are curious).

I'm also working a few shifts this week, luckily I'm free for the weekend, Friday-Sunday. Valentine's day shall also be celebrated and I believe that this year's special day will be a success. This time I have really put my heart into it and I've planned something romantic and unique.

I can't reveal more, in case a certain someone might read this post ;) Time to start this amazing week we have ahead of us and so I say Good Morning, Monday.

The Blind Side.

Yesterday J and I saw one of Sandra Bullock's new films called "The blind side". A beautiful story about a boy named "Michael Oher", a homeless and traumatized boy who becomes an All American football player and first round NFL draft pick with the help of a caring woman, Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) and her family. For those of you who haven't seen it I strongly recommend you to do so! I promise you won't regret it :)

Another great weekend has reached its end.

Another fantastic weekend has passed us by. Yesterday was a magical day when you raised me up and gave my heart wings to fly. Another fantastic evening filled with joy, laughter and love. Another moment that made my realize how happy you make me feel and the way it feels so right which reminds me of the way a hand fits a glove.

Another good nights sleep while having you resting in my arms. Together we are safe and strong and far away are all harms. Another beautiful winter morning while waking up by your side. Another morning of inner sadness when I realize that I must to go, a difficult decision that makes my heart and mind collide.

Another lonely evening has arrived and all I can think about is you. I believe that I might be experiencing yet another déjà vu. Another great weekend has reached its end. For this is my soul's confession; I miss you my beloved friend.

Thank God it's Friday! Hope you all slept well :) I sure did. Anyway I'm so glad it's Friday. For tomorrow will be the day I've been waiting for the entire week! Finally I'll be able to spend a day with a wonderful person ♥

In the middle of this winter wonderland one can't help to dream about warm days in the sun and a fresh tan. The picture above is one of my favourite pictures I believe that it is Kate Moss on the picture? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyway I'm actually considering getting a light tan (not as deep as the one above) by using one of my favourite products from "Too faced". I'll try to write more about it later, I better get going. May you all have a beautiful day!

Exhausted.

It's been such a long day, no wonder I'm feeling exhausted. There are so many things to do at work right now, sofar we've had two big deliveries with spring news. I love the new light pastel colours, light pink, beige and a misty purple. More info about that later! Now, time for bed. Sweet dreams.

Recently I discovered the Norwegian home furnishing company named "Slettvoll". I have found myself sitting with my laptop on my knees staring at the screen for hours, enjoying every room and piece of furniture that they have designed.

Classic with a modern touch and gorgeous colours such as off-white, beige, brown and with few accents of black. Above are two of my favourite rooms, a dining room and a living room. Notice the beautiful details such as the black and white frames, candles and open spaces.

They have different "themes" in their collection, the pictures above are from one of them. The day when I shall move out I know where to find terrific inspiration ;)

Daydream and Delusion.

Whirling snowflakes fly above our heads as we enter the enchanted white garden. Hand in hand we walk towards the old oak tree. "Baby, it's cold outside", I say while searching for a warm embrace underneath your arms. A teasing smile is spread across your face as you reply, "Lucky we had that warm afternoon tea".

Twenty-four hours to explore the beautiful environment and the classic yet modern country estate. A candle light dinner to enjoy, massage and spend some quality time with my favourite mate. Angelic shadows played hide and seek behind the big and old white gate.

A magic day to remember. Almost as wonderful like that special night when we first met, by the end of November. I thought about asking you if you were a facebook member. Instead I got something better, your number.

Walking hand in hand enjoying this magic winter wonderland. There is no need for music because if one listens closely one can hear a soft lullaby being played in my chest, I guess we can cancel the band. Promise me you won't let go off my little hand.

Finally! After years of silence I have decided to join a new chorus this spring which will start on the 8th of February, that is.. Next Monday! Besides, it has not been randomly chosen. For many years I have longed to sing with one of my idols in music, the one & only, Lasse Axelsson.

I met him for the first time at my confirmation's camp in Strömstad (located in the western part of Sweden) where he sang with all the youth that participated at the camp. We sang two maybe three days with him. Those moments were one of the best moments I've had sofar in my life. We had so much fun with him and I still have the few opportunities I have seen him since then.

Anyway as I wrote previously, he has his own chorus now together with his partner Putte Nelsson, known as one of the great pianists that has participated in the Swedish song programme "Så ska det låta".

Tonight I e-mailed my entry for participating in their spring programme, February - May 2010. Music has always been one of my true passions in life. I love to sing and I believe that it has become a part of me and my personality. For almost two years I've been silent, I'm really looking forward to make some "noise" ;) I will inform you about concerts etc later!

The address where I'm at right now, also known as the address to John Chris coffee. One of my personal favourite coffee shops in Stockholm. I love their hot chocolate, not to sweet & not too strong. Just perfect and the way I like it!

This week I've got two assignments to hand in plus a smaller test tomorrow. So I better continue writing, I just thought I'd say hi ;) I'll try to write more later!
