I wore a very much similar outfit today, still my jeans were not bootcut but "slim" and I didn't have the gorgeous clutch from Yves Saint Laurent under my arm.

Remember, "Less is More" and when it comes to red leather pieces it it best combined with "neutral" colours such as denim/jeans/white/blue/black so avoid "blurry patterns" and try not to wear too many red items at the same time. This is according to me a great everyday outfit with attitude ;)

The Perfect Tan.

Oh, how I long for white sand and warmer temperatures (Egypt?). I saw this picture and thought about how nice it would be to have such a perfect and even tan, I better start working on my own now otherwise I'll be as white as the sand when I get there :O

It's been very warm in Stockholm the entire weekend, hopefully it will be the same weather tomorrow - I'd love to eat lunch outdoors tomorrow at some local café in town. We'll see about that ;)

I'm sorry for bad updates again but considering that I've been free this weekend from both school and work I have spent some quality time with my beloved ones. Thursday evening a bunch of girls headed out for dinner at Friday's and later drinks at Tiki room - it was a blast and we all had so much fun! :)

Friday was my first day off which was spent both with my family, we had a delicious lunch together while I had dinner at T's parents place. It was a great day with lots and lots of good food!

I spent almost the entire Saturday in town with T and I was so happy to just walk about town, visiting some shops (including work) and enjoying an ice cream in the park. The perfect day to be off (considering the great summer (!) weather..) with the best company made me smile all day :)

Anyway I'm pretty exhausted now and should probably try to get some sleep. I hope you have all had a fun Easter with your family & friends. Sweet dreams

Terrific Thursday.

Mood: Nothing but smiles, slept like a princess & woke up to sunshine outside
Done: Enjoyed breakfast while playing scrabbles on my iPhone, now shower!
Plans: Work, work, work.. Hopefully I'll enjoy an ice cream in the sun ;)
Looking at: My laptop's screen and the fact that there is not a single cloud..

Drinking: I just had a glass of orange juice, really bad for the teeth.. :/

Today's Tip.

When I first saw these gorgeous pieces (first two pictures in the collage) from Chloé I thought for myself, "this is the one shoe that I will be living through the entire summer". Still I must admit that I was a bit chocked when I saw the price, unfortunately it is a bit above my student budget :( Now guess if I was happy the day when these babies (the last two pictures in the bottom of the collage) arrived to Zara? Truly I find them to be very much alike!

I've been watching them for quite some time now and therefore must try them on the next time I'm in the store which I believe should be tomorrow afternoon. The light leather is perfectly made and I love the golden and a bit clumsy heel, feels very Chloé. The best every-day shoe that will go perfect with light summer dresses as well with jeans. Major cravings on this one..

Pizza + movie with the girls.

I just came home after having a great evening with my best friends E & L ♥. We made home made pizza, I'd never tried it before and believe me when I say that it tasted like heaven (!) :) We saw stunning Ben Affleck in "The Town" which turned out to be a good movie.

Another weekend has literally run away and somehow I long a bit for the new week starting tomorrow. I have no classes next week since we have Easter Vacation still I'll be working Monday - Thursday BUT.. I'm free Friday - Sunday (!) I don't remember when I was free an entire weekend, that really doesn't happen that often. Luckily it seems as if we are to expect great weather as well!

Anyway, guess it's time to get some sleep. I wish you all a great day/evening depending on what time it is at your place right now ;) Sweet dreams.

Summer of 2011 - Egypt.

It's finally been booked and decided now, my colleague C and I will be heading towards El Gouna, Egypt for a week in June! I'm so excited and I honestly can't wait to have some time to relax and do fun activities.

Marvellous Monday.

I just came home after a long power walk in the morning sun, truly the best way to start a new day. I'm free from school today so I've arranged to have lunch with one of my best friends L now that she's back from her short trip to the US. It feels like we both need to share good news with each other :) I've missed you sweetie ♥

Anyway, I'm off babysitting later in the afternoon and should probably make it an early evening considering the long day tomorrow. Time for a shower and getting ready to hit town, I wish you all a Marvellous Monday!

This Weekend's Outfits.

Sorry for bad updates these last few days, I've been super busy at work & with my classes. Luckily we've had a great weekend with lots of sun and higher temperatures! Spring is definitely here now and I'm trying to adjust to the weather one day at a time since the mornings are still very cool but in the midday it's warm!

Anyway, I thought I'd do a mini-collage of the outfits I've worn this weekend. Last Friday I wore my wonderful leather jacket from H&M, chocolate brown cashmere scarf, a blue American flag sweater signed Ralph Lauren, Wayfarer look-a-likes and my Chloé boots. I love these boots, so you can count on seeing my wear them quite a lot this spring/summer.

Saturday I didn't manage to take a picture while today I've been wearing this long jersey dress from Scandinavian brand Bikbok and a classic striped sweater from Filippa K. Outdoors I also had my warm jacket from Jofama + converse. Perfect spring outfits although I really do want to begin to wear cotton dresses now and flats/sandals.. Welcome spring! :)

A list on a Wednesday.

Mood: Tired due to a busy mind, heavy heart, lack of exercise = no sleep
Done: Enjoyed breakfast in front of the TV, now get ready for today's classes
Plans: Babysit & study in afternoon. Maybe I'll also go by the gym after work
Looking at: The awful dull & grey weather we have outside, I long for sunshine!
Listening to: Nothing yet, too tired still
Reading: Class notes, a few handouts and texts that my group has written
Drinking: Nothing, I'm glad I'm not one of those who are addicted to coffee
Eating: I just finished a big bowl of guess what? Yes, Kellogg's & blueberries ;)
Best: I'm meeting C tomorrow for lunch and to discuss our vacation plans!
Worst: Next upcoming dreadful week, I've got three awful exams next week..
Weather: Moody weather, hopefully we'll be having sunshine on Friday!

I've got a thing for berries apparently since I've been eating Kellogg's Corn Flakes and blueberries/strawberries almost every day for breakfast these last couple of weeks. It tastes so good! Previously I've always been eating sandwiches but I've tried to try new things such as scrambled eggs, porridge and other healthier cereals.

Anyway, time to get ready for class. Today's going to be a long day but hopefully a good one. I wish you all a terrific Tuesday! Later skaters! ;)

Bedroom Mood board part II.

As some of you might have noticed I've been planning on redecorating my bedroom for quite some time now. My dad convinced me to start with it during summer since it would be much easier to paint both walls and wardrobe when it's warmer outside.

I have so many ideas inside my head and normally I end up drawing or writing in my notebook before I turn in for bed. Luckily I haven't run out of pages, yet. Anyway I've made several collages for ideas and inspiration in order to get a better picture of how it hopefully will look like when I've finished the project.

Light colours always enlarge a room and after a teenage period when I had both baby blue and light purple walls I'm thinking white or perhaps a light beige colour to the walls. After repainting my wardrobe it will also make the room look bigger, today it has the colour of oak tree and is a "dominant" piece of furniture in my bedroom, my goal is that it shall have the opposite function.

A new lamp for the ceiling would not only give me better light but also add a personal touch to the room, today I have these ugly three metal sticks (similar to a spotlight lamp) in the ceiling, very boring and so not my style. It's time for a change! :) Oh, I can't wait to get started..!

Collage for April.

During April I'm hoping that I will be able to wear lighter colours and materials as seen on Kate Bosworth in the mini collage above. I can't help it but I honestly miss New York and when I saw this cute necklace from Tiffany & Co. I started making plans of a new trip to the Big Apple, sadly not in April but perhaps this autumn.

Flowers - I must make it a new habit to start a new month with a beautiful bouquet on my working table. Receiving flowers is probably one of the best things if you ask me. Perhaps I'll give myself a few white roses tomorrow, it would make my soul happy just by looking at them.

New hairdo's - I hope to have a little more time to experiment with my now long (!) hair. I'm still waiting (very patiently) for it to get just a little bit longer. This cute hairdo as seen on the collage is definitely something I will try this upcoming week.

Love - Things are very uncertain within this field right now. Still, the positive person that I am is still hoping for the best outcome, but one can ever know for sure. There's a saying that I always keep in mind. "Never give up on someone you can't go a day without thinking about." This I promise you, I won't ♥
