Creative working Area.

I'm thinking about rearranging my bedroom's working area. The selected furniture as seen on the collage above are a few of the new items I would bring in after selling my old and worn out chair and table.

After all one needs a good spot to work and come up with creative ideas. I'm sure I would succeed very well in this new chair and behind this fabulous desk. The classic candlestick would enlighten my evenings with its splendid glow.

I have now started a collection of the amazing notebooks from the Canadian company Paperblanks. The serie as seen on the collage above is my personal favourite and I would love to have the contrast of the white wood from the table and the oak coloured notebooks lying on top of it. Hopefully they shall all get more worn out with time and be filled with thoughts and other secrets..

Irrational Ideas.

The sweet vanilla aroma from the two candles had filled the otherwise small bathroom. Red and white rose petals were spread across the floor. Overwhelmed by this breathtaking view no wonder I had to fight against the tears. A bath tapped with warm water filled with sparkling bubbles, a perfect way to end a long day. I struggled, trying to find the right words to say.

Yet another of my a bit crazy ideas. Apparently my head is full of hopeless romantic ones.. But for what good purpose I wonder?

To Start Over.

I've managed to get a free week from work starting tomorrow! I'm planning to spend some quality time with family & friends but also take care of myself a little bit extra. Next Monday I'll be spending the afternoon at the Japanese spa hotel called Yasuragi (see picture above) where I've booked massage and a few other relaxing activities. All good things for both body & soul.

On Wednesday I'll be having my nails done at Frida's. There is this new method called "minx" which apparently is very popular among celebrities in the US. Anyway it sounded cool so I'm trying something new instead of doing them the "French way", a classic that works every time.

Anyway I got to get ready for work since I'm leaving home soon. Have a fabulous Friday! I'll try to write more later tonight.

Restoring Rain.

After weeks of sunshine and high temperatures a tremendous rain and thunder broke out yesterday. It kept raining all afternoon throughout the night until today's early morning. Poor plants and trees in our garden have nearly dried out. Finally came some restoring rain for the two of us.

I'm surprised that my body is still running considering the few hours I've been able to sleep this week, it all started last Sunday. I pray for us to be friends in time. Thanks to Elizabeth Arden's Sheer lights Illuminating Pen I've been able to cover the black circles beneath my eyes.

Still, not even with the greatest make-up in the world nothing can conceal my heart's melancholy mood. Perhaps I've been heading towards the wrong direction? I feel like hiding, for my own protection. Nevertheless, I wish one could turn back time. Only in your presence I knew the World was mine.

Trouble Sleeping.

It's been a long day and for many reasons I find it hard to sleep. Too many troubled thoughts are circulating inside my head. Luckily I'm free from work tomorrow, I might wake up looking like a complete wreck.

Anyway I'm not going to lie and tell you I'm fine. Suddenly things might have become a little bit complicated. Unfortunately. Hopefully I'll be able to sort things out. Enough said, I will try my very best and try to go to bed. Sleep tight and may you all dream with the angels ♥

What Hurts The Most.

I could not believe my eyes. The one e-mail I've waited to receive for far too long was suddenly there in my inbox, waiting for me to open it. A letter that may just have consisted of one brief "hello" and still have made my day. Not today.

Unfortunately the joy and excitement spread far too fast as it managed to increase the pulse inside my veins. That same rush made my heart stop for a split second a few minutes later, slowly I tried to grasp the letters and each word that He had written.

I knew the signs wasn't right. How could I have been so blind? Silent tears had appeared and came streaming down my face. Obvious facts that could have led me to the same conclusion, he had met someone, another girl who had taken my previous place, in His warm and safe embrace.

After four months of hoping, praying and waiting that I would see Him again, it is now over. "What hurts the most was being so close." Nothing but inner silence awaits. For this wounded heart shall need a long rest in order to recover itself. Forgive me, if only I could have been good enough..

Suddenly Saturday.

Hello sunshine :) Hope you slept well! I sure did, ready for a new day. I'll be heading towards work very soon but I just wanted to publish a quick hello and wish you a lovely Saturday! The days keep flying by.. NY coming up soon! :D I honestly and literally can't wait.. Anyway I'll write more tonight. Ciao!

I can't help the fact that I'm weak for black and white photos. This year it seems as if it's become a trend for the big leading fashion designers such as Prada, Valentino, Bottega Veneta, Max Mara, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, YSL etc to all have black and white photographies for their Autumn/Winter campaigns. I could not be more happy about it! Classic & elegant. I love it! :)

Tired Tuesday.

After long day at work I'm finally home, tired & with an awful headache. Anyway I managed to silence my growling stomach with dinner and strawberries for dessert. Luckily I have two entire days to relax and regain new energy for I'm working all weekend.

It's crazy for all the first autumn items are coming in to the store now! Truly I have longed for this, I'm so happy that autumn will soon be here..! I might be the only one who gladly looks forward to it while all my other colleagues wants the opposite. Haha, it's a good thing we're different ;)

Sorry but I need to take a quick shower to cool down before going to bed. Normally I never shower because before bedtime since it gives me more energy (!) but it is necessary now due to the annoying heat for I will not be able to get some sleep otherwise. I'm weird, I know.

Beige Bag.

I've realized that I am very much into beige colours this year. Perhaps because it looks so great together with both black & white (which are the most common colours in my wardrobe..).

No wonder I fell for this beautiful beige bag signed Marc by Marc Jacobs. Not to mention the cool silver watch from D&G. Anyway I need to get some sleep, I've got a long day tomorrow. Sweet dreams!

Morning Monday.

Mood: Annoyed & tired due to the hot weather (!) It keeps ruining my sleep..
Done: Enjoyed breakfast with my family feels good to have a slow morning
Plans: Nothing but work in the afternoon
Looking at: My laptop's screen
Listening to: Lena - Satellite
Reading: Nothing yet but I will continue my reading of "Breaking Dawn" later
Drinking: Orange juice with ice
Eating: I just ate breakfast but I should probably eat some lunch before I go
Worst: Like I wrote above, this heat is unbearable
Weather: Cloudy morning but I'm sure the sun will pop out later today

Sweden's Royal Wedding 2010.

It feels like it was just yesterday I saw the two famous artists Agnes Carlsson & Björn Skifs perform the official wedding song "When You Tell The World You're Mine" on TV, dedicated to the outstanding couple our Swedish Crown Princess Victoria Bernadotte & her Daniel Westling. A wedding that touched many hearts. A magic moment when 2 became 1. Amor Vincit Omnia (Love Conquers All) ♥

Sunstroke.

These last couple of days the temperature in Stockholm has increased to very unusual (for Sweden) and high degrees. For several evenings we've had "tropical nights" meaning a minimum temperature of 20 degrees. Yesterday evening was luckily no exception.

Anyway I was free from work during the weekend so I've spent most of my time at home with the family. Sunbathing, windsurfing and reading "Breaking Dawn". Though, last night I spent it with my good friend S and her work colleagues at Josefinas. My favourite spot during summer.

It was a fun evening were I had the opportunity (for the very first time) to take a trip with the rest of the crew in a white limo! We spent about 45 min cruising around the main streets of Stockholm with a glass of champagne in one hand and party music in the background. It was some night!

Je voudrais.

I realized that I might need a passport holder for the big NY trip this fall. Previously I've always travelled with a boring blue "zip bag" from SAS. I saw these two examples on Swedish ELLE's website and fell in love with the beige case with the heart signed Paul Smith. My first thought was to buy a passport from LV but I think it might be too matchy? Talking about a dull dilemma.

This is Me missing You. Part III.

A soul's scars are never seen during daylight, luckily a brilliant smile covers them all. One can only see them in the shadows after nightfall. Serene silent tears and an empty white wall.

Be glad that the deep hole in thy chest still exists, for it may be painful but at the same time a constant reminder of the good time we had together and that you still exist. For months I have been trying to find a way out from this thick mist.

An angel has fallen and her wings are broken. Too many words were left unspoken. The heart still looks for all kinds of token. In belief, hope and prayer to find a way to leave the heart unbroken.

Janelle Monae, a new discovered star. Great music and with a cool style she has now become one of my favourite artists! Check out this cute winter commercial for GAP, yes I do a long just a little bit for Christmas.. Only 5 months to go.. ;)

My Tuesday.

Mood: Still a bit sleepy, heat + bad dreams = worst combination
Done: Not much, enjoyed a slow morning, shower up next!
Plans: Work in the afternoon and movie night at the cinema with my family (Eclipsé ♥) Yes this will be the second time I shall see it. The best film so far!

Reading: Nothing yet, I'll my reading of "Breaking Dawn" on my way to work
Drinking: Cool water
Eating: I ate delicious home made pancakes with sweet strawberries this morning. It definitely made my morning after a long night with too little sleep
Worst: Awful nightmares too many days in a row..
Weather: Unbelievable hot (!) .. It is during times like these I miss autumn the most. Yes you may call me crazy but I actually do prefer the cold and rainy days
