I've tried windsurfing quite a few times and it's really fun! Still it would be a dream to learn how to surf as well! The Swedish Surf Academy arrange several trips to different destinations all year around.
Apparently they hang out in California for a week by the beginning of November. It would be so much fun to surf and hang out with new people! I'm definitely going to look a little bit closer at this alternative.. ;)
