It was so cold outdoors this morning so I decided to wear my warm forest green wool sweater from Zara, a classic Oxford shirt from Gant, blue jeans, navy blue jacket also from Zara and my Mulberry. When I came to the University library in the morning I saw the beautiful green wall who has now turned deep red, wonderful! I'm hoping that we take lots of picture in front of it before the snow comes! Anyway it's time to sleep, I've got a long day tomorrow. Finally heading to Stockholm!

Last night I had four of my friends over to paint Marshmellows and pumpkins in all different kinds of sizes. Before their arrival I had decorated my apartment with black skull balloons, candles and my dining table was filled with lots of delicious treats such as green spookie cupcakes and a spider web chocolate cake. 

As you can see on the pictures in the collage above we painted pumpkins in both gold and white but also painted different faces and figures on marshmellows. I found these great pencils with eatable colour in them so the girls were so surprised when I said that they could eat their creations after finishing painting them! Over and all, the evening turned out to  be a success! I had lots of fun painting the pumpkins and I have planned to give away one or two later this weekend.. ;) Happy Halloween!

A brand I've been looking closer at lately is the Swedish "preppy-designs" from Lexington. I absolutely love their concept - classic designs and casual/sporty influences. I saw the collages above on their website and honestly there is not one single piece that I would hesitate about purchasing.. 

And so this is my confession, Lexington, I'm in Love.

Thank God It's Friday! I'm in such good spirits today thanks to the beautiful weather outdoors! If I'd be able to choose any outfit for today I'd wear the items above. I love the gorgeous heels! Not to mention the brown bag (the exact same model like the black one I bought last weekend). I'm so ready for Spring!

If only I'd be able to wear this outfit today.. As some of you might have guessed brown is my favourite colour and I'm trying to use it more than just "all black" even if it is the best sometimes when one feels that nothing else works.

I've been wanting a classic handbag for a long time and the bags from Louis Vuitton only get prettier with age! Not to mention the cool brown leather boots from Prime Boots, my old pair is completely worn out so I need a new pair for this spring and autumn. Elegant, timeless & comfortable are my three keywords when I dress. Remember, as long as one is comfortable in what you're wearing you will always look fabulous!

White Winter.

It will soon be mid November and not a single snowflake has fallen yet (!).. I wonder where are you white winter? Honestly one could not be more prepared for it as we are now. Anyway I'm sure it should be here any day now. I'm positive about it! Fingers crossed! :)

Meanwhile I was searching for some inspiration for Christmas presents and other interior details I found some wonderful things that I would love to use to decorate my room this year. The snowflake lights I bought about one month ago I believe, at IKEA.

However I do love the beautiful pillow not to mention the perfect throw to have on my bed! I got a pair of slippers last year that are almost worn out so this cute pair is very much welcome to my bedroom. Somehow it feels as if I'm going to have to put them all on my Christmas list... :)

On the 10th of December I'll be attending a Christmas dinner with my co-workers from work. One thing I absolutely love about Christmas is all the dinners and parties there are to attend. A perfect reason to dress up a little bit extra ;)

I'd wear the outfit above tomorrow if only I had them in my possession.. I do love the red and so maybe I'll be able to wear it this Christmas..! Not to mention the amazing necklace, you have no idea how long I've been looking for one of these! Truly it's a beauty.

To be honest I don't think that my style has changed a bit, I came to this conclusion as I read this old post written in August last year. I'm still longing for the perfect beige classic duffel, it seems to me that this one may be worth taking a closer look at! Other than that I'm a lot into brown as you can see ;) The boots and bag are absolutely to die for! Not to mention the cute hat & notebook.

I wore a very much similar outfit today, still my jeans were not bootcut but "slim" and I didn't have the gorgeous clutch from Yves Saint Laurent under my arm.

Remember, "Less is More" and when it comes to red leather pieces it it best combined with "neutral" colours such as denim/jeans/white/blue/black so avoid "blurry patterns" and try not to wear too many red items at the same time. This is according to me a great everyday outfit with attitude ;)

This Weekend's Outfits.

Sorry for bad updates these last few days, I've been super busy at work & with my classes. Luckily we've had a great weekend with lots of sun and higher temperatures! Spring is definitely here now and I'm trying to adjust to the weather one day at a time since the mornings are still very cool but in the midday it's warm!

Anyway, I thought I'd do a mini-collage of the outfits I've worn this weekend. Last Friday I wore my wonderful leather jacket from H&M, chocolate brown cashmere scarf, a blue American flag sweater signed Ralph Lauren, Wayfarer look-a-likes and my Chloé boots. I love these boots, so you can count on seeing my wear them quite a lot this spring/summer.

Saturday I didn't manage to take a picture while today I've been wearing this long jersey dress from Scandinavian brand Bikbok and a classic striped sweater from Filippa K. Outdoors I also had my warm jacket from Jofama + converse. Perfect spring outfits although I really do want to begin to wear cotton dresses now and flats/sandals.. Welcome spring! :)

Bedroom Mood board part II.

As some of you might have noticed I've been planning on redecorating my bedroom for quite some time now. My dad convinced me to start with it during summer since it would be much easier to paint both walls and wardrobe when it's warmer outside.

I have so many ideas inside my head and normally I end up drawing or writing in my notebook before I turn in for bed. Luckily I haven't run out of pages, yet. Anyway I've made several collages for ideas and inspiration in order to get a better picture of how it hopefully will look like when I've finished the project.

Light colours always enlarge a room and after a teenage period when I had both baby blue and light purple walls I'm thinking white or perhaps a light beige colour to the walls. After repainting my wardrobe it will also make the room look bigger, today it has the colour of oak tree and is a "dominant" piece of furniture in my bedroom, my goal is that it shall have the opposite function.

A new lamp for the ceiling would not only give me better light but also add a personal touch to the room, today I have these ugly three metal sticks (similar to a spotlight lamp) in the ceiling, very boring and so not my style. It's time for a change! :) Oh, I can't wait to get started..!

During April I'm hoping that I will be able to wear lighter colours and materials as seen on Kate Bosworth in the mini collage above. I can't help it but I honestly miss New York and when I saw this cute necklace from Tiffany & Co. I started making plans of a new trip to the Big Apple, sadly not in April but perhaps this autumn.

Flowers - I must make it a new habit to start a new month with a beautiful bouquet on my working table. Receiving flowers is probably one of the best things if you ask me. Perhaps I'll give myself a few white roses tomorrow, it would make my soul happy just by looking at them.

New hairdo's - I hope to have a little more time to experiment with my now long (!) hair. I'm still waiting (very patiently) for it to get just a little bit longer. This cute hairdo as seen on the collage is definitely something I will try this upcoming week.

Love - Things are very uncertain within this field right now. Still, the positive person that I am is still hoping for the best outcome, but one can ever know for sure. There's a saying that I always keep in mind. "Never give up on someone you can't go a day without thinking about." This I promise you, I won't ♥

I see Red.

Balmain made this cool red biker leather jacket for their Spring collection for 2011 and it seems as if the material has made a huge comeback since many of the greatest fashion houses have also done the same and created bags, pants, jackets and other items.

My two favourite leather jackets are a dark chocolate piece and a cognac coloured jacket. However this season I have this enormous craving for red leather and when I saw these cool celebrities Nicole Richie (top right corner) and Sofi Fahrman (bottom right corner) I realized how hot this red piece is!

I found three very similar jackets that can be purchased online, as seen in the collage above. The first jacket in the middle (second from the left) is from Joseph and it really does like a masterpiece!

Second we have the red beauty from Swedish Acne (the same jacket as Sofi is wearing) which by the way is on sale so I might put my hands on this one.. Last but least I also like Zara's budget alternative which also seems to made out of a smooth leather. They all seem to be fantastic pieces!

If I found the perfect red leather jacket I'd wear it like Sofi Fahrman, with jeans and comfortable converse daily while during evening/night I'd wear it with the LBD and sexy heels like Nicole Richie. Did I mention major cravings? ;)

Bedroom Mood board.

For months I have been planning to redecorate my bedroom and I'm looking forward to the upcoming transformation that will take place during this spring/summer. It's not that big of a room which is why I have to think practical and my main goal is to make it feel "bigger" by using bright colours such as white, crème and a few golden details. A wall of white frames containing black and white coloured photographs would also make the room a little bit more personal as would a big bouquet of roses.

I have decided to order the desk from Swedish Vasahem and the beautiful armchair from Ilva since I believe that they would look very good together. My wardrobe also needs a "lift" and I still don't know whether if one should paint it with a covering white colour or to create a similar finish such as seen on Engla's chest of drawers? I must also make new order among my clothes and I'm aiming to have hangers such as this adorable pearl hanger from Lisbeth Dahl and white padded satin hangers. I just wanted to get started now! :)

This is probably the best Spring Outfit that I shall be wearing a lot when all the snow has melted away. I'm so looking forward to start using my beautiful cognac boots from Chloé.

Something that bothers me is that I still haven't bought myself a pair of sunglasses, this year I will buy at least one pair such as the ones seen in the collage above from Ray Ban. I believe one can say that brown has been one of my personal favourite colours for a very long time. Especially the lighter shade which is often called "Cognac" after the drink. I saw it the other day when I was about to change handbag that all my bags are made out of brown leather - with one exception a small "party bag" in black ;)

Anyway I decided to do a little collage with a few items that are on my wish list for the year. Luckily they all go very well together and would also suit the colours in my wardrobe (navy blue, white, pink, black and brown of course..!). Together they would make the perfect combo for summer/spring but also for autumn/winter. Lovely eye candy don't you think? :)

♥ Cute Heart Fob Keyring from Mulberry, not only is it practical but I am in need of a new key ring! Besides, it would go perfectly to my Bayswater!
♥ Adorable High Heel Boots from Chloé, I have been watching them the entire autumn and now I managed to order the last pair in my size on their final sale, yay! The perfect every day boots that will look great with blue jeans or perhaps to a summer's dress? :)

The perfect autumn/winter outfit if you would ask me! I actually had to buy the gorgeous sweater through Lindex's shop online. I love the brown patches on the arms! The perfect blue jeans that one can wear with simply anything in the wardrobe and to beautiful basics, warm UGGS and my favourite bag the oak coloured Mulberry Bayswater.

Awesome Autumn.

I'm literally getting ready for my absolute favourite season of the entire year, Autumn. My aim is to wear something similar to the outfit I've selected in the collage above. Brown is a colour I wear all year around this fall is no exception. Oh, how I long to take out my own duffle..

It just reminded me that I have to take it to the dry cleaners to have it washed, last year I forgot to do so. Besides the other day my mom and I went to town we found the p e r f e c t boots. Hopefully they will still be left by next pay-day. Cross your fingers for me please :)

Creative working Area.

I'm thinking about rearranging my bedroom's working area. The selected furniture as seen on the collage above are a few of the new items I would bring in after selling my old and worn out chair and table.

After all one needs a good spot to work and come up with creative ideas. I'm sure I would succeed very well in this new chair and behind this fabulous desk. The classic candlestick would enlighten my evenings with its splendid glow.

I have now started a collection of the amazing notebooks from the Canadian company Paperblanks. The serie as seen on the collage above is my personal favourite and I would love to have the contrast of the white wood from the table and the oak coloured notebooks lying on top of it. Hopefully they shall all get more worn out with time and be filled with thoughts and other secrets..
