It was so cold outdoors this morning so I decided to wear my warm forest green wool sweater from Zara, a classic Oxford shirt from Gant, blue jeans, navy blue jacket also from Zara and my Mulberry. When I came to the University library in the morning I saw the beautiful green wall who has now turned deep red, wonderful! I'm hoping that we take lots of picture in front of it before the snow comes! Anyway it's time to sleep, I've got a long day tomorrow. Finally heading to Stockholm!

I found this really cool illustration earlier this morning which shows different women at different stages in their lives. Amazing drawing! Suddenly I realize how much I miss to draw.. I haven't done it for a very long while, perhaps I should try to find some time to do so. Anyway I was particularly inspired by the outfits in the picture and maybe I'll try to copy one of them later this week ;)

In search for.

This season I'm adding a new category to the blog "In search for" where I'll be writing about things that I have spotted in a shop or through the internet and that have been hard to find. I happen to be quite "picky" when it comes to design and materials and so when I get a certain idea of a product inside my head and that I'd like to find it can take me up to several months before I find the "right" product that complies with my original idea. Above are two examples. 

For months I've been looking for the "perfect Christmas shirt" and found this red one through one of the websites. It is a men's shirt and my goal is to visit the store and try it on first before ordering it. The second item is what I'd like to call the perfect black suede autumn boot from Zara. I have a similar pair from Topshop that I bought many years ago and that are completely worn out and I haven't find a good replacement until now. Unfortunately I'm not that tall so I'm wondering about the height of the boot? My boots at home are so called over-knee-boots but I think these ones might be shorter. Anyway I have to try them on the next time I'll be visiting Stockholm. 

The Little Black Dress.

I completely forgot about this cute dress that's been hanging in my closet for far too long. It's classic and sexy at the same time ;) Love the bare shoulders and it's the perfect length, not too short and not too long. I think most of the girls talked about having a black dress today so I'm guessing I won't stand out in the crowd :P I'll see if I can take a snapshot of my outfit later! Have a great day!

Searching for the perfect autumn boots.

I'm in love with these gorgeous Tory Burch boots! I've been looking for a great pair to wear this autumn yet I haven't found the perfect boots yet. Perhaps I should save some money and look for a pair while I'm in Prague or London? :)

I just saw my favourite fashion blogger Sofi Fahrman in this elegant fall outfit. My eyes went WOW! I bought a pair of white jeans/leggings a few weeks ago and haven't worn them a lot.. But I will definitely wear them today, all I need to find is a pair of brown boots and an oversized sweater just like Sofi's outfit above. Smashing! 

Age with style.

As I mentioned previously my 25th birthday is coming up very soon and so the plans for both my celebration, dinner and party is at full speed! Fascinating how fast time flies, feels like it was just yesterday I turned 18 and now I'm entering my mid-twenties? 

Anyway, I have decided to make a small birthday list. Somehow I always find it so hard to receive presents from other people, I prefer to give away presents and buying my own presents for myself. In that way I don't have to feel guilty for letting other people spend too much money on me, for that I am perfectly capable of doing myself ;) 

My first priority for this year's birthday is a quality handbag signed by Louis Vuitton. A timeless "Speedy 35" is one of my absolute favorites and a bag which will become more beautiful the older it gets. If one wishes to "age with style" this is one of the best accessories that will never get out of style. Therefore I do not only see it as a "normal purchase" but rather like an investment for life as it's value also increases with time. 

I happened to find a vintage one for a good price (see the link above), I have to wait until my paycheck arrives so cross your fingers that it will still be for sale by the end of this month! 

Lexington, I'm in Love.

A brand I've been looking closer at lately is the Swedish "preppy-designs" from Lexington. I absolutely love their concept - classic designs and casual/sporty influences. I saw the collages above on their website and honestly there is not one single piece that I would hesitate about purchasing.. 

And so this is my confession, Lexington, I'm in Love.

Biker Leather Jacket.

I'm so in love with this gorgeous leather jacket that just came in at our store. It costs 1795 sek so it's pretty expensive still, I've been wanting a black leather jacket for soo long that I might just be able to buy it by the end of august - that is if my budget allows it! We'll just have to wait and see :)

Sneakers.

I absolutely love these Isabel Marant sneakers and know that the entire fashion elite does too. The price is way too high for a student budget but I've found a similar pair in a small shop in town ;) Who knows I might just be wearing them in Örebro later this fall? We'll just have to wait and see..

Pretty like a Princess.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge a true beauty & fashion icon. I love the long gown in the middle and the purple Issa dress on the last picture with the gorgeous maple leaf brooch that she wore during her visit in Canada. I'm certain that this woman will do great things for Britain, the Royal family & it's people!  

Blue & Coral.

I still haven't gotten used to the fact that we're already in May?! Spring is in full bloom here in Stockholm and Summer is waiting patiently just around the corner. We've only got three more weeks at Uni before summer vacations, still I believe most students will be spending their free weeks working. I'll be back at Zara by the beginning of June. I've missed the girls at work so I am really looking forward to go back! 

Right now I'm dreaming of Summer evenings, a nice tan and to be able to wear bright colours such as the blue & coral collage seen above. This year I definitely have to add more colours to my wardrobe! A pair of heels in a bright coral colour are on my top-shop-list!

When it comes to accessories I have always preferred golden details such as earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I am looking for the perfect watch with a golden frame and bracelets to wear every day. It would be a dream to have the ones above dangling on my arm, especially the Cartier Love Bracelet.

I saw fashion icon Olivia Palermo wearing this romantic white dream at an even in the USA and fell completely in love with the beautiful dress. I have no idea who the designer is but clearly he or she has created an outstanding piece!

I saw that the webshop Chicy sells a very much similar dress! The ultimate dress for all the summer festive occasions if you ask me! I love it..! :)
