Coming Up: Vacation.

I was just looking at the calender in my iPhone and realized that V and I will be heading to his parent's summer flat in Antibes, France in just a couple of weeks. Finally some vacation!! :) I can't wait to spend some real quality time with my love since both of us have been working a lot. Our different work schedules has made it difficult for us to coordinate and have free days together.

Still, I cannot be happier about the fact that we've had all summer together. I feel so grateful for all the things he's done for me, supporting me and cared for me. Also that he's been so patient with me as I've had some ups and downs both on and off work.

I believe the both of us have learned a lot about each other this summer. To live together with someone else is truly one of the best things I've experienced but at the same time there are moments when certain situations can feel a bit restrained. The most important thing is to take care of and work on the love & relationship everyday.

I truly feel so blessed to have such an amazing man in my life. Honey, I honestly don't know what I would do without you and I feel so lucky having you by my side, supporting me and loving me for being me. I love you with all my heart and I look forward to more fun adventures that we will experience together! ♥

Home Make Over.

V decided earlier this summer that it was time to remake the kitchen and bedroom in his appartment. The big project started about a week ago and the kitchen is finally getting ready now and it looks great! There are a few more details that the carpenters need to fix but we're hoping they'll do it as fast as possible.

However, the bedroom is still a dissaster. The plan is to paint the walls with a white brighter colour since the room is quite small. We've also planned to exchange the old floor with a new wooden pannel but as I said it's going to take time to get it ready before we can move back in.

The new bed is waiting to be unpacked and I am so looking forward to decorate the bedroom with personal details that suits both V and I. I've taken lots of before and after pictures so I promise to show you when it's ready!

Home Sick.

I decided to stay home today from work since I had an awful ache in my stomach last night and woke up with a cold this morning. Besides a soar throat I've also got a heavy head and my back hurts from a rough night and hardly no sleeping. Sorry for all the whining but today simply didn't start the way I'd hoped it would.

Anyway I've been sitting in the sofa almost all morning watching TV and drinking lots of water. Hopefully I'll regain new energy for tomorrow since I can't afford being sick too many days. Time for a quick shower and then lunch! I hope you can all enjoy the rest of the day!

I absolutely love these Isabel Marant sneakers and know that the entire fashion elite does too. The price is way too high for a student budget but I've found a similar pair in a small shop in town ;) Who knows I might just be wearing them in Örebro later this fall? We'll just have to wait and see..

Monday = New Week.

Mood: Nothing but smiles on my face, happy to have a day off!
Done: I've had a long breakfast in front of the TV and read a few e-mails
Plans: Get ready and then go home to spend some quality time with the family
Looking at: The beautiful sunlight outside, it's going to be a warm day
Listening to: I will rest in You - Mindy Gledhill
Reading: Nothing at the moment but I will pick up my book on the train
Drinking: A glass of water
Eating: I just had breakfast and looking forward to eat lunch with my parents
Best: To have a day off today and this upcoming Friday
Worst: Long working hours this week and the fact that V will be gone this weekend
Weather: After a long heavy night with lots of rain the sun is finally here

Magic Monday.

Hi guys! I am truly sorry for my absence this last month but truth is, I've been working long hours these last couple of weeks. It's been lots of fun though, to be back with my amazing colleagues and having to work with new challanges.

I've had a magic monday sofar thanks to a long night of a very much needed beauty sleep, long breakfast in front of the TV and I'll be heading out for a walk down to the library later for some reading and to explore new literature for the new courses starting in September. All in all, I'm happy to have a day off! :)

Time to prepare some lunch and get ready to hit town! I wish you all a great start of this new week!
