Picture: Collage made by meAs I wrote in a previous post this week my birthday is coming up within a few weeks and I am already making plans for how to celebrate it with my family & friends ♥.
When it comes to birthdays, Christmas and other special occasions I have always loved to do or give something special to that person. Preferably something unique and if I have the time I would probably add a personal touch to it ;)
Anyway but when it comes to my birthdays I almost feel "guilty" about receiving presents from others. I don't know why but somehow I prefer not to be given something "big" but instead perhaps just get a beautiful bouquet of flowers? For me that is enough. On the other hand I love to "spoil myself" in that way I don't feel guilty about it.
I made a small collage of a few things that have been on my mind for a while and which a few things I am planning to give myself on my birthday (well perhaps not the roses, I'll leave that to my family ♥).
From the top left corner a watch from a brand called "Triwa". I love the fact that it is white and that it has a golden frame around it. The perfect complement to my metallic/silver watch from "Swatch". Second we have a candle from the Swedish brand "Byredo" who sells perfumes, candles and other body related products. I've thought of their candles the entire autumn and I must confess that my curiosity has not disappeared.
Third we have a special necklace from "Dogeared". The reason for why it caught my interest is due to the cute "love note" hanging on the golden chain. It reminds me of the love I have for music and the way it has become a part of me through time. But also because all the jewellery from Dogeared come with a beautiful message. "Tiny Charm=lots of love".
From the left bottom part are a few products from a cosmetic brand called "Dermalogica". I have wanted to try their products for a long time and from many close friends I have heard nothing but good things about them. I think it might be worth a try!
Next we have the lovely bouquet of light pink roses. If I could only have one thing in this collage I would definitely choose these flowers. The perfume called "Fancy" by Jessica Simpson has become one of my signature perfumes. I love the fragrance and I believe I could need a refill..
Last but not least, a leather heart-shaped keyring from "Mulberry". Today I only have a simple metal ring to hang all my keys, boring and with no charm at all. While the leather heart represents more, love, family and the keys to my heart.

A few years ago, when Lisa has her birthday, I stopped by a flower market on the way to school and I bought her a small bouquet of pink flowers. It cost like, 10kr once I had haggled a bit and I brought them all the way to Samskolan, and she was SO happy! She thanked me for them for the rest of the week. So when she moved to Uppsala, I got her a huge, pink-rose bouquet, which she loved even more and even brought with her to Uppsala! I really think flowers are appreciated, so let's hope you get some too!
