It had been such a long day. We were both tired but I wouldn't have had it in any other way. Butterflies were struggling inside my body and made my cheeks blossom like a cherry blossom tree. For I had longed to see your smiling eyes, such precious things to me.

In your warm and safe embrace I stayed all night. Closely I admired the peaceful expression upon your face as you fell fast asleep, a breathtaking sight. I listened to your even breathing which soothed my nervous heart. "Welcome home baby", I whispered and I realized how happy I felt knowing that we no longer had to be apart.

It felt like an endless dream, lying next to you. Suddenly something small and wet escaped my eye, a tear of joy that might have become a few. For this is my heart's confession; I am glad I found you.
