Pictures: Slettvoll

Recently I discovered the Norwegian home furnishing company named "Slettvoll". I have found myself sitting with my laptop on my knees staring at the screen for hours, enjoying every room and piece of furniture that they have designed.

Classic with a modern touch and gorgeous colours such as off-white, beige, brown and with few accents of black. Above are two of my favourite rooms, a dining room and a living room. Notice the beautiful details such as the black and white frames, candles and open spaces.

They have different "themes" in their collection, the pictures above are from one of them. The day when I shall move out I know where to find terrific inspiration ;)

A list on a Wednesday.

Mood: Nothing but smiles
Done: Spinning (30 min) this morning, breakfast and classes
Plans: Class, study and hopefully grab a cup of hot coco somewhere in town
Looking at: My laptop's screen
Listening to: Murmuring voices coming from other students around me
Reading: Notes from class
Drinking: Water
Eating: Eggs and ham for breakfast, still haven't decided about lunch yet ;)
Best: It's midweek! Two more days and the weekend may begin
Worst: It's been such a "slow" week, I want it to be Saturday!
Weather: Cold & grey outside & more snow later tonight

Daydream and Delusion.

Whirling snowflakes fly above our heads as we enter the enchanted white garden. Hand in hand we walk towards the old oak tree. "Baby, it's cold outside", I say while searching for a warm embrace underneath your arms. A teasing smile is spread across your face as you reply, "Lucky we had that warm afternoon tea".

Twenty-four hours to explore the beautiful environment and the classic yet modern country estate. A candle light dinner to enjoy, massage and spend some quality time with my favourite mate. Angelic shadows played hide and seek behind the big and old white gate.

A magic day to remember. Almost as wonderful like that special night when we first met, by the end of November. I thought about asking you if you were a facebook member. Instead I got something better, your number.

Walking hand in hand enjoying this magic winter wonderland. There is no need for music because if one listens closely one can hear a soft lullaby being played in my chest, I guess we can cancel the band. Promise me you won't let go off my little hand.

Finally! After years of silence I have decided to join a new chorus this spring which will start on the 8th of February, that is.. Next Monday! Besides, it has not been randomly chosen. For many years I have longed to sing with one of my idols in music, the one & only, Lasse Axelsson.

I met him for the first time at my confirmation's camp in Strömstad (located in the western part of Sweden) where he sang with all the youth that participated at the camp. We sang two maybe three days with him. Those moments were one of the best moments I've had sofar in my life. We had so much fun with him and I still have the few opportunities I have seen him since then.

Anyway as I wrote previously, he has his own chorus now together with his partner Putte Nelsson, known as one of the great pianists that has participated in the Swedish song programme "Så ska det låta".

Tonight I e-mailed my entry for participating in their spring programme, February - May 2010. Music has always been one of my true passions in life. I love to sing and I believe that it has become a part of me and my personality. For almost two years I've been silent, I'm really looking forward to make some "noise" ;) I will inform you about concerts etc later!

The address where I'm at right now, also known as the address to John Chris coffee. One of my personal favourite coffee shops in Stockholm. I love their hot chocolate, not to sweet & not too strong. Just perfect and the way I like it!

This week I've got two assignments to hand in plus a smaller test tomorrow. So I better continue writing, I just thought I'd say hi ;) I'll try to write more later!
