Good morning rockstars, I trust you all slept well? I've been up since 6:15 AM this morning since I'd booked the laundry room from 7-11 AM. Unfortunately I haven't slept properly tonight either because I kept dreaming that I wouldn't get up in time and miss out washing my clothes. So annoying and therefore I've got a slight headache coming over me :/ Hopefully it will turn around later when I'll be heading to the Uni.

Anyway I can't believe it's already Wednesday?! I've been studying so much every day this week not to mention the long hours K, L, M & me will be spending at the library next week before the big exam on Friday. The days feel so long yet they run away before my eyes.

Luckily I'll have some time to rest and regain energy this weekend as I'll be having two days without studying. It almost feels like my head would explode if it wouldn't get a break :) So looking forward to Friday ♥

Sorry for the bad updates this weekend! My good friend M and I have been studying all weekend for the big test coming up in two weeks.. It was also the last week for all the introduction games and get-to-know-each other-activities.

Crazy, on Wednesday this week I've been here in Örebro for four weeks (!) time really does fly when you're having fun ;) I'll post some pictures from the last activities that I attended both on Friday & Saturday later!

Anyway I'm happy it's Monday, my other good friend L is coming home today after visiting her boyfriend in Lund! Tomorrow I'll be attending an interesting event at the University called "career day", where more than 90 different firms will be representing themselves. I believe it is a good opportunity for us students to get new contacts and to focus on our work opportunities in the future. This will be a quick preview and I can't tell you how excited I am about it!

Besides this I've planned to study a lot this week as I'm getting company this weekend from Stockholm ♥ As you can see there are so many fun things going on right now I'm just going to enjoy the ride! I wish you all a great start of the week! Love Liv

Started off the week with a great power walk with M, it was pretty cold but nice to get some fresh air so early in the morning. It's nearly -13°C outdoors right now and so therefore I've been wearing lots of warm knits this week.

My personal favourite is the white one from Zara which I got from my other good friend M for Christmas, thank you love! Anyway time to get ready and kick off this fun Friday! There's a big competition tonight.. I'll tell you more about it tomorrow! I wish you all a beautiful day!

I believe I've written about this perfume before haven't I? Unlike the other perfumes from Chanel "Mademoiselle" is not as heavy like the others. For I think it is classy, elegant & timeless.

Therefore it is one of my absolute favourite scents and I made myself a promise that if I pass the upcoming exam I have within 16 days (!) I'll give myself a little treat.. Excellent motivation right? ;) Anyway, time for bed! Sweet dreams

First Night.

Moving out. Moving in. That's basically what my weekend has been all about. I also celebrated my mother's birthday as mine as well with my family during Friday evening, it felt so good to be with my beloved ones, truly nothing can be compared with home. It's been a very busy period of time for me and I believe that I needed to come home and relax a bit and to gain new strength, luckily I think I succeeded :)

Finally I'm in my new apartment (!) and tonight's my first night here. After an entire day of hard work my parents and brother E left me on my own with a nearly finished and organized apartment. I can't tell you how thankful I am for all the help I got today, I love you mom, dad, B & E for all that you do for me and that you're always there whenever I need a helping hand ♥ Truly, you are the greatest!! I don't know what I would do without you..

I'll try to take some pictures later on when everything is in order! However it does feel like I've "landed" now and can relax a bit while focusing more on my studies and not having to be worrying more about my accommodation.

It's been a rather emotional evening and to be honest I do feel a little bit nervous about everything that is happening in my life right now. There is plenty of fun and good things so I'm hoping for the best. Either way, cross your fingers for me would you please? :) Anyway time for me to sleep! Sweet dreams

I just can't seem to understand how fast the days are passing by here in Örebro, if it's not school there's so many social events almost every night (!) and I'm lovin' it :) Still I must confess that its made me veery tired since I don't seem to get enough sleep..

Rise & shine! I trust you've slept well? I'm so happy it's Saturday though and so looking forward to the After ski Party tonight and the fact that V is coming up to visit me from Stockholm. It will be great to see a familiar face anyway :) I've got a feeling tonight's going to be awesome!

Anyway I'm so happy M convinced me to stay in yesterday and watch a movie with her. She came over to my place and brought chocolate cake (!) which was delicious and we watched "Easy A". I know it's an old movie but I haven't seen it and it was funny!

Other than that I also had my first seminar at the University yesterday! It went really well and I must admit that I was a bit nervous before it. So it was a good reason to celebrate it with a chill movie, chocolate cake and lots of girl talk! It's time to get this day started! Later skaters!

Finally!! I signed a contract today and will be moving in my own apartment by the end of this month! With only walking distance from the University I feel so lucky to have found something to call my own! It's been very stressful these last couple of days not having a permanent place to live. Unfortunately I'm not the only student in this situation and I know many people who have been calling different agencies ten times per day just to find something..!

Hopefully I will receive the keys by next Monday but it will take a few days before I can move in since I have to bring my bed and other furniture from Stockholm to Örebro. You can have a closer look at the apartment above and I must say that it is a lot bigger than I expected. So looking forward to get settled soon!

My aim was to get up early this morning in order to have time to visit the gym on Campus but I overslept. Hopefully I'll have the energy to do so later this afternoon! It's crazy how the days fly here in Örebro, you should see my busy schedule - my calender is literally full with fun events everyday! Tomorrow it's been one week since I first got here and it feels as if I've done so much already! It's a great feeling ;)

I almost forgot to tell you, I made some calls yesterday during the afternoon and managed to find an apartment very close to the University which my friend M & I will go and have a closer look at this afternoon! Yay!! Cross your fingers for me for this could be the ONE apartment I've been looking for, a place to call my own :) I'll give you an update later tonight how it went.

Anyway since I couldn't go up early and have my daily work out I've decided to stay home and study a bit before I'll meet up with the girls in my class. We have two lectures today and a soft evening with the members of Corax later tonight. Hopefully I'll have time to drop by before I hit the gym. Time to get ready! I wish you all a great day!

Rise & shine everybody! I hope you all slept well. Yesterday was my last day at the youth hostel as I received an offer from the student organisation here in Örebro to live in what they call an "emergency apartment" (sorry for the bad Swenglish translation!) which basically means that it is a temporary alternative for those students who don't have anywhere to stay.

Therefore yesterday I rested most of the day and packed my suitcases and moved in to a smaller apartment 700 m from the University!! I absolutely love the walking distance and the fact that I no longer have to go by bus. I'm living with a sweet girl I, who also studies at the University but has lived here a lot longer than me since she's already studied for 1,5 years.

Anyway I settled in here yesterday and today I'll be having my first lecture! I'm so nervous yet excited about it but I'm sure that it will all go well. New beginners nerves I guess ;) Other fun news is that my dad will drop by later today to say hi and to help me to get a mattress to sleep on as I only has one bed which she obviously will be sleeping in when she's not at her boyfriend's apartment.

However I'm still searching and trying to find a place to call my own.. Hopefully I'll have some luck tomorrow as I'll be making more calls. Sorry but I got to run now. More updates will come soon! Take care and have a great day everbody!

Introduction Day for new Students.

Today was my first day on campus where I attended a meeting in the morning about the University, met my new class mates (!) and we were also given a tour of the campus with our older "brothers & sisters" from the student institution Corax.

It turned out to be the worst day for the tour since it's been raining and blowing constantly all day, we even had bits of snow in the afternoon! Still it was fun to see the big area and I must say that I'll be walking around with a map these first weeks since the probability of getting lost here is big, especially me since I have a bad memory for orientation.

Anyway in the evening we met up with our student institution Corax for a get-to-know-each-other event. It was fun to get to know more people from my class and other students that one will get to know better through Corax. The big "brothers & sisters" also placed us in smaller groups where these members almost become like your "family" here. We named our group "Too Awesome" since we are group number 2 ;) The best team for sure!

We don't have any lectures until Monday the 16th of January which is the official start for the Spring term of 2012. However we are all meeting up tomorrow for an "Amazing race" with our teams where we will be participating in fun activities all organized by our "brothers & sisters"from Corax.

In the evening we have the big "Colour party" where all new students will attend and the theme is to wear the colour of the student institution that you belong to. I'm sure it will be lots of fun! Enough for tonight, time for bed! Sweet dreams.

I made it! I'm officially in my new hometown Örebro. After a comfortable and very fast two hour journey by train I reached my destination. I met a nice guy on the train, student as well and he was heading towards to Gothenburg to visit a friend. We talked the entire journey and I was happy to find myself a friendly and talkative companion like myself ;)

Anyway, when I reached Örebro I went to the bus center to make sure that I had the right info about which bus I was supposed to take to find my way to the youth hostel where I'm going to stay for a few weeks. The lady gave me completely other directions and therefore the tourist (read me) obviously decided to trust her and go by her directions.

In the end I ended up in a very odd and random place outside town and completely off to the hostel. So when I called the hostel to tell them I'd be late for the check in the owner was kind enough to come and pick me up. Thanks to my guarding angel ♥

After a rather long day with lots of new impressions I must say that I'm happy that I've only met so many friendly and kind people so far! The youth hostel is very small but cosy and it's a soft atmosphere here since most people staying here are students. Enough for today, I'm exhausted and need to get some sleep since tomorrow will be yet another long, busy yet FUN day ;) Sweet dreams

It's been two very busy days running the last errands, finishing washing and packing clothes etc. As always I'm a true optimist when it comes to time and well almost practically everything! No surprise that I'm not done with my suitcases yet? ;) But I'm not worried, I have time tomorrow morning as well since my train departures at 3:05 PM from the Central station.

However the nerves seem to have caught up on me. There are too many thoughts going through my head right now. Tonight's the last night I'll be sleeping in my bed and underneath my parents roof for a while. I also won't see my family & friends for a few weeks and today I've actually felt very sad about that fact. Truly that is the hardest thing, to be apart from your beloved ones ♥

At the same time I'm very excited over this new chapter and lifestyle I'm about to begin! So many new faces, places and you name it. It's time now. My time to do this for me and no one else. My aim is to do my very best and to make my family members proud. I love you, I honestly don't know what I would do without the world's greatest parents & brothers. Thank you for loving me for the way I am.

I had the best evening in town tonight. My closest friends who all happens to be former colleagues (I love the fact that we do hang out after work as well!) and I decided to meet up for some tea/coffee and to talk about each other's adventures from New Year's Eve and to say good bye since I'll be leaving on Wednesday.

Oh my, it's just three days away. Yes I'm starting to get really nervous now and I've realized that it's almost the same nerves I had before starting first grade. Crazy and silly I know ;)

Anyway I still have several things left to do tomorrow and Tuesday before I'll be off. The thought of the fact that I'll be living in a suitcase these upcoming three weeks doesn't feel that appealing to me but what a homeless student do? :( Hopefully it will all be sorted out by the end of January! I'm exhausted so I better try and get some sleep. Sweet dreams.

Hair Favourites.

I just placed an order of a few of my personal favourite products that I use when I style my hair. As many of you already know it is a jungle out there with thousands of brands and products in all price categories. How do you know what is right for you and your hair type?

I always talk to my hair dresser and ask her advice and other tips, after all they are the professionals in this area. After years of trying out different products I have found my favourites and I speak from experience since I've tried many brands and cans ;)

Since I do highlights in my hair every once in a while I need to use products that are made to take care of coloured/damaged hair. The same thing is applied if you are darker as well, we all do want to keep the colour in the hair and not wash it out with a far too "heavy" or strong schampoo.

I use Redken's Blonde Glam (schampoo) which contains protein (strengthens the hair) and other ingredients that helps to enhance the highlights and to keep the blonde luster.

Once you have washed the hair it is very important that you use some sort of heat protector to prevent from damaging the hair with warm hair blowers etc. If you don't use it you will experience that you will loose more hair as it breaks easily when it is humid or wet. This green little bottle and its content from Kérastase protects each and every straw from the heat and also helps to strengthen the utter surface of the hair.

For those days when you, A) Overslept and don't have time to wash your hair this is a real savior or B) Don't like the sometimes to soft feeling after washing your hair or perhaps just want more volume? I've lost track of how many times I've used this white can and it never lets me down! Ladies & gentlemen, I present to you REF. Dry Schampoo. The best dry schampoo on the market!

I always finish off with a good hairspray! I love Osis Session from Schwarzkopf. It keeps the hair in place as it also is very easy to brush out or wash out the day after. Good luck if you decide to try out any of these amazing products!

Man's Best Friend.

Last night the entire family cuddled up in our TV-room to watch one of my favourite movies, "Marley & Me" featuring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. I cry every time at the end when Marley slips away due to old age, people often says it is almost the same feeling as if you woud loose a family member and I believe that to be true. After all the dogs are to be seen as Man's Best Friend.

Many years ago my family and I had a sweet little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (as seen on the collage above) named Falcon. My brothers and I have had been fortunate to have many pets but nothing compared to this dog, we all loved him very much. Unfortunately my siblings and I were to small to take care of him although we had made that promise to our parents so we had to sell him. Although I made a silence promise to myself that day.

As soon as I'm finished with my education and found an apartment to live I will have my own little "Stella" or "Charlie" (Ha ha yes, I even picked out names already) :) It's always been a dream to have my own dog and yes I know that with it comes a lot of responsibility but I'm ready for it. Luckily I have family members and friends who I know would help me out in situations needed. Remember, if you give this animal your heart they will give theirs to you.

I just had a wonderful dinner with the rest of the family. We ate turkey which we also had for Christmas Day but since it's almost been two weeks since Christmas (!) we thought it was okey to have it again ;) Perfect alternative to chicken and any other bird and goes with almost everything.

Anyway I've arranged a movie night with my beloved ones at home so hopefully we'll see a comedy in one hour or two. As much as I'm looking forward to move to Örebro I do fear one thing. I know for sure that I will miss my family members a lot since we've always been close.

People say that many students get "new families" when they move to new places and maybe I will get new brothers & sisters? ;) We'll see what happens! Time for a quick shower before I rap myself in my cosy robe & slip into my warm wool slippers. Have a great evening everybody ♥

Update: Today is my fifth day without any carbs where I've only eaten proteins all three meals of the day. It's been both easy and hard depending on which day it's been. In total I'm feeling good and felt positive right through it. However today I have a mayor craving for one of my absolute favourite fruits in the world, papaya. It's been ages since I ate it!

I'm thinking about rewarding myself with a piece next week when this hard week is over! It's both sweet and very healthy. I love it when you add a fresh slice of lime to it as well, delicious! Let's just hope the grocery store nearby have it on Monday, if not I'll have to look around ;)

After a rather rough and sleepless night I managed to get up around 9 AM this morning. It's my back that's been bothering me at night and somehow when I wake I can't find a way to go to sleep again :( I've been working out quite a lot recently and perhaps I need to rest? Therefore no power walk today but instead I'm going to book an appointment and get a proper massage soon.

Anyway I'm glad it's Friday! Yesterday I found some school supplies, calender, note books etc. I'm thinking about writing down a list of things to bring with me down to Örebro on Wednesday. Apparently there will be more snow next week so warm winter jacket + boots will be necessary!

It's also a good opportunity to go through the big closet and see what items I may be able to sell/give away to charity before I leave. Hopefully I will also get some good news concerning the apartment issue by Wednesday next week. Cross your fingers for me will you please! :)

I was looking at some old pictures that I took during the trip my father and I did to New York in late 2010 and realized how much I miss the city! Good afternoon rockstars! How's Thursday treating you? Great I hope ;) I've been out for a long 1,5 hour power walk! It was a bit cold but the more reason to speed up the tempo! Anyway I just wanted to tell you about these really cool skins as seen above, for those of you who have an iPhone (almost everybody right?). They have more than 1500 and I didn't check them all but I believe I saw about 100 of them and these were four of my personal favourites.

They also produce skins for the laptop, ordinary prints to put up in frames and t-shirt prints! Pretty cool things anyway and it's worth checking out!

One of my New Year's Resolutions was to eat healthier and work out on a daily basis. I feel so proud over myself to say that I've had three good days of one hour long power walks indoors on our run machine but also outdoors. I have also resisted all forms of carbs and only eaten protein this week, mainly eggs, chicken and salmon (my favourite!).

Truth be told, yesterday was not a good day I felt awful and had no energy at all. Still, I'm feeling so much better today, loaded with lots of positive energy! Four more days to go, next week I've planned to eat slow carbs and like I said in my New Year's Resolutions allow myself sweets one day every week. I know my body & teeth (!) will thank me later ;)

I've always wanted a slim yet trimmed body so I'm doing this for myself. For this year is all focus on me, myself and I. There is nothing more important than to have a good balance deep within and I must confess that by the end of 2011 my body and inner systems were completely out of balance.

Being healthy is a new goal and priority, still I have a big gene that loves and always will love pastries and other delicious deserts but like I said - not everyday but once every week! Are you with me? Let's all have a Kick Ass Start! :)

If only I'd be able to wear this outfit today.. As some of you might have guessed brown is my favourite colour and I'm trying to use it more than just "all black" even if it is the best sometimes when one feels that nothing else works.

I've been wanting a classic handbag for a long time and the bags from Louis Vuitton only get prettier with age! Not to mention the cool brown leather boots from Prime Boots, my old pair is completely worn out so I need a new pair for this spring and autumn. Here is one of my latest purchases from the big SALE at Zara that begun on the 26th of December, the perfect Army jacket! It arrived some time during last fall around September if I'm not mistaken? And it sold out in only a few days. I was so dissapointed for I had been looking at it several times while at work.

I've been wanting a classic Army jacket for some time but I thought that this one with the black leather arms was a lot cooler! It works with a warm sweater underneath or with a fake fur vest on top!

As it turns out, the former store where I used to work at had a delivery of three similar jackets just before the SALE..! Luckily enough I managed to get a hold on one of them when the SALE started. Guess if I'm happy?! ;) Looking forward to wear it this spring/summer & upcoming autumn with a warm knit underneath. I'm thinking a white t-shirt, black or blue jeans & boots or converse to go with it and a statement bag to make it elegant! The perfect everyday look if you ask me ;)

Moving to Örebro also means I get to have my own appartment or at least my own room (I haven't got it yet but I will soon enough!) which I can decorate with my favourite colours/items. Both stores (as mentioned above) have so many nice things and for a good price (!) which suits any student who has a low budget.

Anyway hopefully these are a few items I wish to bring with me, you know my Birthday is coming up soon (26th of January) and it would be a perfect opportunity to "wish" for some of these things. The rest I'll buy them myself! :) I'm soooo excited!!

Good evening January 2012! I hope you've all had a good start of this New Year. Actually today was the first day that I've felt a lot better, it seems as if my cold has finally decided to let go.. Therefore my dad convinced me to head out for a winter walk and boy did I feel good after all the fresh air! I haven't been running these last 10 days and I honestly felt the difference when we were out today. Hopefully tomorrow I should be able to be back on track ;)

I've been all busy organizing, planning and writing "to-do-lists" for the big adventures in Örebro. The first kick-off starts on the 12th of January and my calendar is now full (!) with different activities planned for the upcoming weeks. I'm sure it will be lots of fun!!

Tomorrow I shall also write down a list of personal goals that I want to achieve during 2012. I have been looking forward for this new chapter for a long time now and somehow everything still feels so unreal? I still wonder if I really got in or if this is all just a dream? Yet I will feel the difference as soon as I'll be on campus, meeting new friends & exploring new environments!

There are many fun things happening this year; I'll be turning 24 years old soon (!), my youngest brother B will graduate in May, looking forward to spend summer in Stockholm and perhaps I'll have time for some shorter/longer trips later this fall/winter! I want to thank all readers for following me here, perhaps some of you are new visitors and others have been here since the very start back in 2009? Winter Vacations.

I've had a few days off enjoying my winter vacations therefore the absence here in the blog. Christmas is officially over and I can't believe tomorrow's New Year's Eve..! Anyway I'm happy to say that I've spent these days with my family & friends and truly we've all had a great time. My beloved family members and amazing friends gave me the best Christmas gifts, practical, useful & beautiful ♥ I love you all!

Besides that I also have some bad & good news. I'll start with the bad, unfortunately I received yet another cold a few days ago and so my poor and sore nose is all red again :( I have lost track of the number of times that I've been sick this fall, awful but I hope to get better soon! Now to the good news!

On the 27th of December, 01:03 PM I received the great news that I got admitted to the University of Örebro that I applied for January 2012!! The joy, the tears and excitement I felt that moment completely blew my mind! And so I've also been celebrating it with my family on both Tuesday & Wednesday this week with champagne and lots of love!

I still find it hard to believe but truly I feel so blessed and yes it was a bit of luck as well. Anyway I did manage to take pictures from both Christmas Eve and the big celebration from Wednesday evening so I'll try to make a collage and post them here later, so stay tuned! Have a great day!

I thought it would be easy, getting over you and walking away from what we used to be. I could never imagine that after this short time, it would break all that was left deep inside of me.

A wise man once said, "Never give up on someone you can't go a day without thinking about" and I made myself that promise to always believe and have faith in you. For I have and always will care about you, still hoping that one day maybe you will see how good we are for each other. Still, I'm lost in all this confusion not knowing what to do.

Last Sunday was my official last day at work, I resigned from Zara since I'm planning to start University in Örebro later this spring. Since I have to move to this new city I simply couldn't stay there but I'm hoping I will be able to return again to work during summer.

So this is the reason for my absence here, last Friday my friends and I met up for a good bye drink at one of my favourite bars in town, Hotel Rival. We had a great evening and talked & laughed a lot, just like we always do both at work & when we hang out afterwards. Truly I've met so many beautiful people who have become close friends after working with them for 1,5 years. It's been such a great experience being able to go to work & leave work with a great smile and it's all because of them!

I also surprised them with homemade vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with frosting and a big delicious chocolate cake as seen on the second collage above last Sunday at work. Every crumble was eaten and I'm glad they all enjoyed it! After all they've given me it was the smallest thing I could do. Sunday was very sad and at the evening meeting my boss P said the most beautiful things and the entire team surprised me (!) with flowers and an adorable silver bracelet! Thank you all for everything, truly you are The World's Greatest Team ♥ I love you all!!

I apologize for my absence this week but I've had a full schedule busy exercising, baby-sitting, hanging out with friends from work but I have also not been feeling well deep within. Truth be told, I feel unstable, emotional and hurt. Literally it feels as if a big piece from the heart has been ripped out, yes it does hurt in every heartbeat.

There is no saying that life will always be certain and that it will follow the same patterns, easy for us to follow and to understand. No, on the contrary life will always be uncertain, one day everything you touch starts to bloom the other it simply withers away.

I will probably never receive any answers to the questions I've carried in my head this last couple of days. If two people can't solve them together, then there is not the slightest chance for me to do so neither. They say that time heals all wounds, to one extent I do believe that to be true. Still, there are certain memories that will always remain the same.

You will always have a special place inside my heart and this is my confession, I've loved you from the very start. I will keep you in my prayers and hope that you one day will find true love & someone to take good care of. Remember, you've got a friend in me & I will be there until the end ♥

Good evening! I trust you've had a great weekend? :) Well so have I which is also the reason for why I'm feeling completely exhausted tonight. It's been two very busy days at work now that everyone seems to be out looking for Christmas presents.

Last night was so much fun though! The dinner was superb despite the fact that we had to eat in a hurry (!), some people turned out to be very late and so the dinner had to be delayed. Sad :( Still we did have a good time and I danced until my feet went numb!

No wonder everybody was sooo tired at work today, ha ha! We've must have looked like a bunch of zombies with grey bags underneath our eyes and with no make-up on. But that's ok on soft sundays ;) Other than that I don't have that much planned for tonight, still I think I'll make myself some hot cocoa and see a feel-good-film in bed :) I wish you all a cosy evening as well!

With barely two weeks for Christmas and still no sign of any snow (!) I'm still working on holding my Christmas mood on top! I'm planning on baking my own ginger bread house & other cookies next week, guess who's going to be pretty busy? ;) But it will be fun!

However, tomorrow evening is the big Christmas dinner/party at work so I'm sure it will be a spectacular evening since they've announced that the theme for this year's party is party/glamour! I'm sure everybody will look absolutely amazing and so therefore I'll try to take lots of pictures!

The world's greatest mother who also happens to be my mom just surprised me yesterday with an early Christmas gift (!). One of my favourite stores in Stockholm is a small shop called American Classics for they have every little detail to create a classic & traditional American home. Therefore a big smile was spread on my face when I saw the beautiful wrapping ;)

It was a cute little perfume bottle from Lisbeth Dahl, a danish brand that specialize in interior design and accesoaries. I've always wanted such a old fashioned little bottle to have on the shelf in my bathroom cupboard. Thank you so much mom!! I promise it will be taken out every day! ♥

Around midday I also received an e-mail that confirmed my application for Örebro University and my upcoming studies starting in January 2012. Bonjour mes amis! I've had a slow start today after yesterday's celebration, I'm sure my dad was a bit tired as well! We had a fantastic evening so it was definitely worth it! All the great food and delicious desserts.. I better head out on a long power walk today ;)

Other than that I'll be off to work in the afternoon for inventory, hopefully it will all go well and we can go home early since last time turned out to be a complete catastrophe (!). Anyway I'm happy that the sun decided to show up today and we even got a few very thing snowflakes last night!

Time to kick start this Terrific Tuesday! Not to mention how much I long for tonight since I'll be heading over to A's place after work for a movie night at his place. Enough said it's time to head outdoors, have a great day everybody! Later!

Today is a very special day as it is my dad's 65th birthday! We just came home from celebrating him with a delicious dinner at a restaurant called Grill.

Good evening to you all, I trust most of you share the same enthusiasm as I do over the fact that the weekend is finally around the corner and that yet another week has gone towards its end. I've been working out a lot, 5 days in a row this week (!) and so I'm looking forward to two days of rest.

Besides that I've spent time with family & friends and yesterday A invited me to go and see the big concert called "OnStage Stars n' Stripes" with various famous artists such as Jill Johnson, Kate Ryan, Darin, Peter Johansson, Sanne Salomonsen. The theme was American music such as western & rock'n'roll. It turned out to be a great success and A & I had lots of fun enjoying the show :)

Anyway I'm going to make myself a nice cup of tea and lighten some candles & just enjoy a soft evening at home. Tomorrow will be a long day with work all day so I better get some sleep tonight. I wish you all a Happy Friday!

I've found a brilliant photo editing programme for my laptop, it's called Picasa (very similar to Photoshop but a lot easier!). One can edit background, reduced "red eyes" on photos and so much more. To download it click here!

This feature I used above with the beautiful snowflake frame belongs to the premium version which costs around 3$ every month. I'm thinking about "upgrading" since I love to work with images and other photography features. Perfect now that I have Christmas cards to fix!

The 1st of December is officially here with 23 days left until Christmas Eve and 30 days before New Year's Eve. This is according to me the most beautiful time of the year! :)

2011 has gone so fast yet I believe it's a good thing for I've had so much fun! I've met people that have become dear friends, not to mention how my family & friends have helped me grow as a woman, daughter, sister & friend.

I believe that this is the time of the year when one should reflect upon all those things that we normally forget to think about, the small things that in the end matters the most in life, friendship, health & love.

Learn to appreciate all that you are, the loving people around you and the life that has been given to you. Learn to be grateful for big & little things one may be given & show respect to the people around you no matter age or gender.

Most important above all, love. Do not hesitate in showing the people you truly care about how much they mean to you. Remember, no one is born with the gift called "mind reading", it's all about learning how to express yourself with words & through actions in the everyday life. We all need to hear it from time to time, take good care of your beloved ones ♥

I've always been a "morning person" and therefore I've not had any difficulties in getting up early in the morning. That seems to have changed, I somehow can't seem to get up early anymore instead I keep on sleeping like a little bear :) Anyway I'm up now and ready to size the day!

November is going towards its end and on Thursday we'll be entering December. Christmas is just around the corner and we still haven't received any snow? :( Hopefully it will be here soon! By the end of the week I've planned to do some Christmas shopping, I better get started now.

Other than that I'm free today so I'll be decorating my room with new ornaments and organizing a few things. If the weather gets better I'll also head out for a long walk later this afternoon. Anyway time to get changed, I'm still in my pj's :) Later!

Good evening, I trust you've all had a good weekend? If not then I'm sure the upcoming one will be a lot better ;) Anyway I've been busy working as usual and hanging out with friends from work.

On Friday evening my entire family headed out for a celebration dinner dedicated to my youngest brother who turned 18. Later J & I went to see "Governor Mike Morris", it was very interesting and I believe I heard that George Clooney might even get an Oscar for his performance as an actor.

Considering it was pay day on Friday we had lots of customers at work during Saturday = busy busy day.. Still my friends and I headed out clubbing in the evening and we had lots of fun! Despite the fact that I felt mortified this morning when I had to get up early and go to work. Not because of any stupid hangover, I was feeling fine but because I didn't sleep enough hours. Zzzombie today :)

Anyway I should probably turn in early tonight to get some new energy for tomorrow's work out (!) intensive cardio + core is on the schedule, so looking forward to it! Sweet dreams

Cooking Skills.

I've never been an expert when it comes to cooking, in other words I've tried to stay outside the kitchen. But recently I've discovered how much fun it is to gather a group of friends or perhaps just being two people and cook together! Tonight I made a fabulous fish soup which turned out to be a success at home, everybody loved it and I couldn't help but feeling very proud of myself! :)

I'll see if I can translate and post the recipe here tomorrow for those of you who might be interested in trying it yourselves! Trust me, it was so easy and tasted so good! Normally I prefer to cook chicken and other meat dishes since I think fish a lot harder to cook.

However, tomorrow evening I will not be cooking since the entire family is heading out for dinner in town to celebrate my youngest brother who just turned 18 this week. I'll be working the entire weekend but on Saturday night I'm meeting up with some of the girls from work and we'll dance all night! So looking forward to that :)

Today is a special Day as it is my youngest brother B's Birthday! I can't believe you're 18 now! Time has gone so fast, as I made this collage above I couldn't stop smiling at all the amazing moments that we've had together as siblings. I also look forward to the new ones that are to come!

No Green Fingers.

I believe it is a Swedish saying, either you have it or you don't - "green fingers". If you're good with flowers and other green plants then congratulations, you have it! ;)

I on the other hand don't, I've always had flowers that I have forgotten to take care of. Still there is one exception, roses. For the times when I've receieved flowers for example my birthday I always take care of them a little bit extra just to see them last longer. Still I'm planning to get better, I'm looking forward to have beautiful orchids in my future apartment.

For my graduation I got a beautiful vase from Villeroy & Boch which I haven't used for a while. Perhaps I'll buy myself a pretty white rose bouquet on Friday! The fresh scent always make me happy not to mention the fantastic view that I'll be able to look at for a couple of days :)

New Week.

Morning Monday and the start of a new week! After a pretty intense weekend I allowed myself to sleep a little bit longer this morning and therefore woke up with nothing but a big smile on my face. I hope you all had a great weekend! I spent yesterday working all day and Saturday with friends.

Tomorrow is a Big Day! My youngest brother B will be turning 18 years old! Crazy how time flies.. We'll be celebrating him tomorrow and the entire family will be heading out for a celebration dinner for him on Friday, so looking forward to it! Truly, I love my family so much ♥

Anyway I try to convince myself that my cold is a lot better for I've planned to go training with M tomorrow. Therefore I'll be drinking lots of tea today and eating more C-vitamins! Time for a quick shower and I'll be ready to start this new Monday! Have a great day everybody!
